    WE have a terrier dog out of Warren's crew that is working for us 'darn sarf',...and I can thoroughly recommend his stock... This critter of ours (CHIP) is hot as hell,.and will hunt out anything from a mouse to a Fallow,.and,..to be honest,..we never really know what he will turn up next,... Life is never dull with such a natural born hunter around

    The youngster is obviously thinking that she is ready for some action (rabbiting,.etc) and her prey drive is starting to kick in...Maybe get her out with some lads and their ferrets.. Get her mind focussed on something else.. Take it slow, and just keep her close, and allow her to look, and take in the atmosphere. Its a LONG road to becoming a 'made dog',...but ya gotta start somewhere.. Preferably not on woolies....     Good TRUE words from you there Barrie You are not alone in wishing that a visual and text record had been made of Bert's most interesting life. He was definitely 'old school' in his beliefs,..and he enjoyed his terrier sport at a time when it was possable to do so.... Sadly , the truth of the matter is ,...history will relate mostly to those that have cannily 'talked the talk',.but in truth have never really 'walked the walk',... Such is life...     I get a lump in my throat when I have to despatch them in a trap.. They almost seem to look at you through sad eyes. Town foxes are often quite tame too so it makes it even harder. There's no shame in being compasionate mate....!!!!!! Well said....

    There are NEVER any guarantees when breeding lurchers,.BUT,...blood does count for something,..and if you match a good dog,.with a good bitch,.then (in my opinion)...it certainly ups your odds....

    I feed my lot on a mix of Orijen and RAW. I definitely noticed a big difference when I switched, the coats are softer and they all have more energy, especially my older dog she seems a lot more sparky. I really need a chest freezer to feed a complete raw diet, Landywoods is sooo cheap! My butcher gives me bags of stuff everyday, lots of stuff 1 day out of date, backcuts, bones, all for free, best thing is I can call in every day and he'll have a bag of stuff waiting! That's the way to do it...

Its good to hear a happy customer give some respect to a reliable supplier It is best when carrying a bundle of rabbit wires,..to pop the peg through the wire and let it hang down, Carry your snares in this manner will prevent them from tangling.. When being hung or stored in the shed I favour tying them in bundles of 25... All the best,.and good snaring... Kind regards,.CHALKWARREN...
