  2. Poodle Lurchers,... You guys just love a debate.... As for Scotland,...well I love the place,..and for myself, and any serious hunting man,.. "It really is, 'God's Own Fecking Country',... The land is big, and beautiful,...and idealy suited for a roustabout moucher's jukel... End of... All the best,..CHALKWARREN....
  3. Raw Green Tripe is a fabulous 'filler' for canines,.but,.it is mostly water Why not give the tripe just a few times a week, and compliment it with chicken carcases, lamb necks, fish...etc.. Try and locate a local butcher who will give you the weekly wastage,... it will be cheaper, and better All the best to you,.CHALKWARREN...
  4. Tegan is a first cross, Sheepdog x Greyhound...

  7. : Some really interesting comments guys... I see a lot of wild deer, Roe, Fallow, Sika,.etc...often on a daily basis,..and to be honest,.as a humble catcher of rabbits, they can sometimes be a wee bit of a fecking nuisance However, as a life-long fan of the running dog types,..it is good to hear how other lads are doing, and how they go about things... I have found that the exciting chat regarding the taking of various deer species can often produce the best in a hunting man,.but alas,...it can also the bring out the worst All the best,.CHALKWARREN...
  8. Life will go on,..the lurcher world has always been the same,...nothing will ever change, and nothing can change The divis will come and they will go,..they always do,...I've seen coachloads of local heroes during my lifetime ,...and it is part and parcel of the game...And that is WHY,...a lot of what I would term as being 'GoodFellas' try to keep their council, and don't blab too much about what they are up to with their jukels Obviously for lads that are still active and keen to spin over a few big critters,..silly behaviour by careless feckers is not good...in fact, it is extremely da
  9. : And the really GOOD thing was,....NO FECKING MYXY.... Onwards and Upwards now All the best,.CHALKWARREN...
  10. Super prize Steve,...one for the Taxi Man surely ?
  11. Cannot argue with that ASME... "Last of my line".....
  12. Mole Catching is undertaken in different ways throughout the country... The amount of money that you charge your client varies immensely I have a couple of 'contracts' with hay dealers and silage producers,.and it is good interesting work on large farms. However,..although it is useful to know that the contract will yield a definite guaranteed income,..it often comes at a price. And for me ,..this contract business cuts two ways,..."You have them,.but THEY (own) your arse for an agreed set period of time".... This I don't like... It maybe me,.but,.. I am a free spirit and
  13. Nice to see an 'Oz' lurcher bringing home the bacon...
  14. I also remember Brian Plummer dumping a load of books on the stand for "someone to sell" and how they mysteriously disappeared. I can't remember too much about what happened to them, as there were all sorts of threats of legal action, but do get occasional flashbacks of a pair of hands as big as shovels and a rubbish skip . Kindest Regards - Barrie @ Barrie....
