Or are tackle shops becoming rarer? A mate in louth said that his local tackle shop, Castaline had close, and the only place to get bait (maggots) was to visit some of the local fishing lakes. What's it like on your turf?

Some lurchers do limp for a while after a good cut. The get used to limping for a while and carry on with it after it heals, best thing to do to see if it is glass, is walk the dog on the lead for a few miles, don't let it off the lead, the idea is to get the dog walking properly while it has it mind on other things, like being let off the lead. If it still limps when you get back, then there may be something left in the pad. Try this for a couple of days and see how you go, I wouldn't let the dog off the lead until you know for sure.

When I was a kid, there used to be this black belt who looked like steve jacks the karate expert, he taught his young pupils to punch solid objects, said it caused slight stress fractures in the kids hands. And that the human body would make the bones harder and thicker where the stress fractures were to stop them fracturing again. I've heard quite a few athletes do the same, so maybe there is something in running dogs at 7 months on easy rabbits, not the point that it causes damage. It may teach them to roll and slide instead of cart wheel when they fall, maybe. -

I wonder if the EU interfere with Norway's internal governance. Just because Norway have a poor deal, it doesn't mean we have to accept the same. Negotiations are all about pushing for your own deal, not just matching an existing example. It would suit me if there was no deal, and we just flew over, or sail round the EU.

Norway don't have it that good, they pay the same as us, but are not totally in the EU laws wise, but they still have the open access, and still pay the same as us into the kitty to receive the trade agreement.

You'll never beat centre fires or rimmies for clearing rabbits, due to power to distance. Airguns are level up to 50 yards, after that the more powerfull guns rule.
