    I still always thought that Flint was the better dog. Sorry I haven't got in contact with you Moorman, I like your chocolate pup. We'll have to get together sometime and do a bit of hunting. I was there one day when MD was bragging about Flint and RB said to him,put your money where your mouth is....do you really think that I would have sold the better dog.The challenge was never taken,so I think it's a debatable subject. We will get out soon,I'm looking fwd to it.

    Heres one of a dig we had to my mates old Plummer bitch sadly no longer with us.10 years of age and 10 foot deep. (Not me in the pic).

    Used to regularly lamp with a Wolfhound Greyhound and a Wolfhound Greyhound x Collie Greyhound back in the 's.The first cross was a bit sluggish on the turn the the collie x was spot on for all game.

    I believe Mars has two bitch pups left well worth a look if you want something thats bred from proven parents.I saw the pups today and they really are a credit to him.

    No offence taken sniper, i wanted to use a wheaton/grey to hopefully get a rough coat but still keep that game terrier prey drive that a terrier cross lurcher has, Also size was a consideration too, i did`nt want to go for the BIG bull cross cos I.M.O. a Good small un can work all the quarry a big un can and on some probably better, " I.M.O." And from the looks of this litter i`ve got pretty much what i was looking for and if this litter does as well as previous litters from this bitch then i think i`ll have done the right thing, As most of the litter has gone just from word of mouth then

    Saw 19 Buzzards in one field while the farmer was ploughing.Very common around here.

    Once had a 22 foot dig to a black bitch of mine.Dug down with a JCB the length of the boon 18 foot if I remember correctly,then had to go the rest by hand as it was on the side of a quarry.She had dropped down a kind of upside down funnel in the blasted rock,killed her Fox and couldn't get out.

    I personally don't believe that there is a best terrier.No one terrier will be the ideal for every situation.A wise old terrierman once said to me that a good terrierman keeps a variety of types/temperaments in his kennel.i,e something for every situation.
