i have seen ferrets bolting stoats and weasels with no problems ... if it came to a fight my cash would be on the ferret ..... a wild polecat would be a different story ... i used to ferret a farm in west wales that was over run with polecats and the ferrets would get a pasting every week ... in the end they were starting to refuse to go to ground so i sacked the farm ..... tough fuckers them polecats ...........

my oldest living dog was an 18 year old first cross collie grey ... she was worked with the ferrets from the age of 4 months and lamped from 7 months .... i retired her from lamping at 8 and from ferreting at 12 ..... she lived out the rest of her days on my mates fathers farm where she died from old age in her sleep ........... this bitch was a first cross rough collie whippet and she was worked up untill she was 14 and died at the age of 16 .... she had distemper at the age of 2 and against the vets advice my old man brought her home and pulled her through it ...........

we have here many test one is on fox under groung, the dog have one minute to enter pipes and get in contact with fox and have 9 more minutes to drive out the fox or grab her. f**k me 10 mins in all :11: we have f*****g dogs here that would find the fox and kill it in that time :11: :11: :11:

I just thought that I would put this up with the big freeze on the way and according to the weather people this is going to be the worst winter on record ….
