    How would people think about a pig roast after the fishing ... I can get one maybe free maybe at a reduced cost and my mate who is the butcher will come along and cook the pig for us whilst we are fishing .......

    Don't forget that if you spit roast you can't just shove a pole up its arse and out of its neck ... You need to bind it in properly and tie In the legs so that they don't fall off when cooked .......

    A fire pit is no good for cooking any fatty meat as when the fat comes off the meat it sits on the embers and gets hot and burns into meat ... A spit roast is best as when the fat drips it keeps the embers below hot giving a better all round heat and cooks the meat more evenly ..........

    It would. But the owner would rather we camp next to Gills, thus having the far end of the site to ourselves. Other than that, we camp in between the Caravans, but we would have to be quiet. Sorry Ken. That reply sounded a little terse. I didn't have much time to write a proper reply. But here goes. When I initially went to see Rita the lady who runs Holly fm and told her what we wanted. She was fine about us fishing Trotters and camping in between the Caravans. When I told her there could be some noise when we have the BBQ, I asked if it would it be ok for us to camp around the lakes ins

    My missus volunteers for age concern and is always having to go out and by food to make up meals for the elderly she visits ... If I cared to count it I wouldn't be surprised if it came to a couple of hundred quid a month ... She makes cakes most evenings to take around the old folk she visits ... fairly regularly she will make up a big lasagne or a bolognese to share around and then of course she gets the cantankerous old fukcer that states they don't eat that foreign muck so she pops out for some pork chops and knocks them up a quick dinner lol ........

    I've had lotty out a fair few times ferreting on small warrens where the rabbits are straight into the nets and she has been nice and steady so I decided to take her local to a medium sized warren where I could get the longnet out and give them a chance to run to the net to see how she behaved ... I was pleasantly surprised at how chilled she was ... She marked the warren when we got there and followed the action underground and didn't hesitate to pin the rabbit in the net ... All followed by a cracking retrieve ...... Pics are not the best as they are off my phone ............. THERES

    anybody seen this film ... A true story about a fella called Sam Childers ... What a true hero he is ... The film is worth watching just for the footage on the end credits ........

    I don't to be honest and it normally works out that the amount they are eating as they start working properly and lose that puppy fat is the amount they will eat as an adult if that makes sense ........
