    That's all very good in a warm climate where you can have dry kindling ........

    Don't go wasting money on expensive bags mate ... a normal plastic zip lock bag will do just fine ... it's all I ever used in the army and I never had wet clothes ... depending on how much kit your carrying it's always a good idea to learn how to compress fold your clothes so it takes up no room ......

    Use ziplock bags to keep your kit dry and also you can squeeze all the air out to pack clothing tighter .......

    Puri tabs are easy and cheap to use but they do leave a slight taste in the water ..........

    Get yourself an army Bergen with side pouches that can be removed so you have the option of going light if you just want to explore away from your main camp ... also an essential item of kit is a gortex bivvy bag for your sleeping bag ......

    Get yourself this little set up ... powdered milk and tea bags in the pots that are inside the cups ... cooler head is inside the kettle ..... what you can't see is it also has a two plates and two sets of cutlery ... weighs about 1.5 lbs ......
