I watched a programme a few years ago where NASA had drilled a mile into the ice at the Arctic for a core sample. Now I can’t remember exactly but it was something like an inch was equivalent to 3000 years or something like that. The gases trapped in the air bubbles gave an historic reading of the climate over that period. And what it showed was that the earth has always warmed and cooled on a cycle and that cycle repeats itself with regularity.

We often have the threads on here about getting permission. I have had a load of permission in the past when the farmer has initially said no just by being overly polite. It goes something like. Me. Good morning sir Farmer. Grunts Me. I was wondering if you wanted any free pest control done on your land. Farmer. No Me. Ok thanks for your time sir sorry to bother you. Have a good day. Me. If you watch the video of the arrest the copper asks her if she is praying and when she says yes in my mind he arrests her. The post wasn’t about the rights or wrongs of her protest but about the fact the police can arrest you for thought.
