Aye will definitely be businesses going to the wall over energy costs, my own place of work just spent 10k putting in converters and another 5k for a new transformer so they didn't have to run 3 phase generators on clear diesel and now with energy rising even more and winter coming it will put a lot more cost on the company as well as every man wanting a pay increase, it going get tough for small businesses.

There's most definitely places in Ireland that are almost completely void of any game, I've witnessed a hard hunting footpack cover vast areas from sun up till sun down and not get a sniff of a fox but that was in the south, the area I'm from if foxes, rabbits and hares were your game then there was plenty to go at and definitely no shortage of work for terriers, rabbits all but gone with only small pockets here and there.

There was a time I could of give 2 lurchers and 2 terriers all the work they could handle but that day is over with having other commitments. It's just the way life goes for most.

The only folks round these parts that own sand slugs are the gypos and you only have to look at their boxing vids to see why they like em, both are like watching fcukin paint dry lol. They Love making videos of their paint drying bouts and posting it all over the Internet and making call-out videos. Lol. Sounds familiar mac don't ye think. ???

Its probably similar to your own coastline kev but with less sunny days lol, but when the weathers nice it's really spectacular, my lad with autism loves the sea and we get to see a different side to him when he's in amongst it, the other 2 love the rock pools but he's down the beach at a 100 mph. Lol.
