I was out In Pease bay yesterday and met a chap with a young Deerhound/Greyhound, beautiful dog with ruff coat. Was telling the misses about it and wondered if anyone on here had any pics of this cross I could show her. Cheers

Mine has the odd pheasant if they are about, some dont get damaged and I release them other just keel over and some just to damaged so ring there necks to be kind. Earlier this year I was in Scotland and my dog flushed a pheasant out from a bush and the sutupid thing flew straight into some patio windows and knocked it self out, they really are stupid birds!

Watching my dog run, the speed the turns and the rush we both get from it. All ways feels good when you know your dog is getting as much out of it as you are.

will do mate.

My beddy/whippet had a few long hairs down his legs and on his face and was quite smooth the rest but hoped he would end up broken coated and by six months it was obvious he was going to be. Not sure if there is any way of telling other than time.

Hi mate, my dog is 7/8 wippet 1/8 beddy so almost what your asking, he's on my avata. He,s my first lurcher to. The misses said if I was getting a lurcher it had to be a small one so was the obvious choice. Great with the family and great fun out and about, he is now 22 months and this is his first propper season, nothing serious just a bit of fun.

Class It's called tough luck, at the end of the day that wasn't your intention was it? So it's a hard call to prove, intent is hard to prove. At the end of the day, we can't smother our dogs, we dont know whats about to run or fly off in front of us. Maybe when you saw the hare's, you should of leashed your dog up? Or even walk where there are no hare's? Ok the latter in my area would be silly, my dogs wouldn't be able to run at all..... Running, it depends on how fit you dog is and the ground it is covereing, this time of year alot of stubble and even plough. Some dogs have too mu

Got home from work and thought I would take the dog for a stroll around the feilds where I live. Its a short walk, normally takes about 20 mins just enough for the dog to stretch his legs. There is never anything about apart from tonight, I was looking over a wall as I saw something move and there was 4 big ears really close. The wind was blowing a gale and they were oblivious to me. I took a few moments to admire them as I have never got so close to one with out startling it. Next thing I know the dogs over the wall and off, 'f**k' I thought as we are not meant to be in that field, it was wel

Hi All, never thought I would be putting this add up but due to the wife and our baby both develpoing allergies to the dogs, I have no choice but to rehome them. We have tried all sorts of remedies but I think its time to face facts, get real and do the right thing. The dogs are a 1/8beddy/7/8whippet, 15 months old and about 20tt. Broken coated, blue and white. He is an absolute stunning dog. The other is a 7 month old working cocker, black with a tiny white blaze on his chest and as you can imagine he is full of beans. Both dogs are are in the best of condition, great with kids and other dog

I had a staffie years ago that was a rescue and he was completely bald underneath, his owners had been feeding him on tined food and after trips to the vets and a bit of trial and error with dry food it finally grew back.

I had an interesting conversation with a lady who described her self as a Purist in that she believed that dogs are bred for certain job and will excel at that job and should not be used for anything else. She told me that traditionally spaniels, retrievers, etc would have been worked as part of a team used for the job meant for them, she was referring to the aristocratic life . I can see the sense in it and it must be wonderful to see. I have a young cocker, my first gun dog and he will be used mainly for bushing, flushing to the lurcher and gun and retrieving. I dont expect him to retrieve a

Is that to give his turd the 'totally tropical taste' the lads right so don't jump o his back, when digested in theory the dog shouldn't touch it. I would try pineapple chunks, you might have some sucess. You miss understand mate, no ones getting on anyones back here apart from you , im certainly not knocking any ones suggestions just found some humor in the thought of a tropical turd, still do, cant see how thats jumping on any ones back and if you cant see the funny side of it then I guess your taking life a bit to seriously fella. Do people just sit back on this site waiti
