Try having a look here mate. Which Pellet, Which Gun.. Might give you some ideas. Who told you that the AA fields were no good? I think you will see from that list that many people use them through their guns. Hope that helps Freddy

Can't go far wrong with an XL. A mate has one and it is a very nice gun and cheap to boot. ATB Freddy

The skull might be a bit thicker but i wouldn't think it would be so much thicker as to make much of a difference. The more important thing is whether the shot got the brain or not. Too far back and you may well have missed it or just clipped it and not enough to cause lethal damage. ATB Freddy

Thats exactly what i was going to say zipdog. You don't need to refil a gas ram mate thats just the PCP's (and the CO2's i guess). It depends how much you are willing to spend on a springer mate. The best springer is kind of relative to the budget available and what you wnat to use it for. ATB Freddy

I don't think a minute in that case would have helped much just added to the length of suffering. Maybe it was the storming in bit that was the problem. Though I didn't know stalking kills was generally the idea. Maybe check your zero or something along those lines it might just have been that it was not a clean headshot after all. ATB Freddy

They only leak if you get a a bad one or if you don't treat it right. My PCP is a good few years old now and no leaks so far. This question has been asked a million times. The answer is it depends what suits you and what you want it for.

Nice shooting. 15s a good bag and if you are expecting more next time that could make for a serious amout of pie. Keep you in food for a good few days anyway. Should put some of them in the sarnies. I like PCP's but i can see the appeal of a springer still and loved my first2 rifles which were springers. Given enough money I would buy one to go alongside a PCP in my gun cabinet. ATB Freddy
