    If your gun can break the 12ft/lbs mark with any pellet then it would need to be on an FAC. i.e if you don't have an FAC then it's illegal. ATB Freddy

    So in answer Aaron, yes they do work but you either have to use it or not you can't keep changing your shooting position. But as you can't keep changing your shooting position easily with springers anyway it should be no problem. Just remember once zeroed with it you should continue to use it. ATB Freddy

    Not all the harris ones tilt do they. They have a whole range and the basic ones are still way more than £25 even for the low modification ones. ATB Freddy

    Totally agree with that Mal. I think if you are accurate enough either will do. .22 more margin for error and I am sure the .177 shooters will tell you that the .177 give better accuracy due to the flatter trajectory. So I think the conclusion can only be personal preference. Anyone else with thoughts? ATB Freddy

    Well if I am wrong then I am wrong no use claiming anything different. If I didn't admit to it how is this guy ever going to sort his problem out. At least now he has a chance. I have now learnt to read, unfortunately my laptop doesn't seem to know how to type. So appologies if there is a letter missing every now and again in my posts. I do however believe what Timelord says as he is not a lier so if he saw it duck regardless of whether it was due to the pellet coming its way or not I believe that it ducked. ATB Freddy

    You are probably right to be honest. I hae just re-read it a few times and it makes more sense to be a scope somehow. It just seams a bit strange that the whole thing went weird when he fitted a load of other new things to the gun but didn't change the scope. Cheers Freddy
