  2. A few Years ago I was down at Mates place in Suffolk to do a bit of Netting and had the privelage to browse through the pages of the above mentioned Book! ... I wonder how many Folk who have this Book actually spotted the Slip Knotts in one of the Pictures .. ? Regards.

  4. ready made Polyesters are hard to dye without the proper tools. The company's that make Polyester from scratch actually add the dyes at the start of the manufacturing process.

  6. Down to the temperature , certain colours need to be dyed at a higher heat level to acheive the colour which must have an effect on the twine. Ive always found the bright orange twine to be nice and soft, and this royal blue twine that iam knitting with at the moment is also nice. Regards.
  7. And why does the twine need to be thick for Fox nets. Those nets will work just fine for Fox .

  13. Agouti all the way!! best material/needles/rings ........ all at a reasonable price, plus all the gear comes from someone who actually does a bit of rabbiting

If you are knitting directly onto a ring whilst making your purse nets ? then all you need to do is either cut the twine from the ring once you have the length you require or better still get a split ring, that way you can just feed the meshes of the split ring , saves any twine being cut once you have the required length..
