Little Stunners are the Gold Crests,, wish I had a camera yesterday whilst out for a Fag break as that little Bird that i was admiring was a little Poser
A few Years ago I was down at Mates place in Suffolk to do a bit of Netting and had the privelage to browse through the pages of the above mentioned Book! ... I wonder how many Folk who have this Book actually spotted the Slip Knotts in one of the Pictures .. ?
Regards.
ready made Polyesters are hard to dye without the proper tools. The company's that make Polyester from scratch actually add the dyes at the start of the manufacturing process.
Down to the temperature , certain colours need to be dyed at a higher heat level to acheive the colour which must have an effect on the twine. Ive always found the bright orange twine to be nice and soft, and this royal blue twine that iam knitting with at the moment is also nice.
Regards.
Should make a right good killing net , i like the two tone nets.. I bet it will run out of the basket with ease
Good to see your still useing the mesh board ..
Regards..
Agouti all the way!! best material/needles/rings ........ all at a reasonable price, plus all the gear comes from someone who actually does a bit of rabbiting
As said agouti has 1.3mm braid which makes a good net..
this braid is also good for fox nets..
