    Theres nice 10z Nylon @ £6.50 plus the dreaded vat per 500grm spool available from Gundry Bridport in Dorset,, its nice twine,, nice and soft.. only in White though, 01308 422222 Worth a look Brimmer as the twine you have used in the past may have been a Bonded type? Not to kind in the hand

    Or you can throw the sheet bend then throw another half turn above this,, The knot will be bigger though but it keeps all the rows nice and neat.

    Brimmer get yourself some nice Braided Nylon Twine! kinder in the hand and handel better than any twisted nylon twined net.. Pick up virtually no shit also if you are working manky places... Really good ,, but again you need to double or carrick knot it...

    In my opinion when you see rabbits throwing clear of the heavier twined nets its all down to the Mesh size.. Theres very little stretch in the thicker twined nets so a lot of the shop bought jobby's mesh size is lacking... Better with a 4 1/2" full mesh lets the Bunny's head get Gilled .. Or double peg the nets with a smaller mesh size,, works a treat.. takes longer to set them but deadly..

    Ive used them in the past, many years ago,, and theres a Bloke who's still useing these type of nets down south in Hampshire... Nowt wrong with them I may add but I do like a Good quality Ring at both Ends.. I like a Prittey lookin Net ...

    heres the sample of braid that I think you have,, No doubt Iam way of the mark here but has the Braid You have got an inner core like this ? If not then I would be interested in a few spools of that Braid You have.. Kind Regards..

    Hi Andy, I reckon the sample second last on the right may well be the same twine you have.. If it is then its also good twine but I do prefere the twine that the wee nets made from... Regards..

    Heres a few sizes of Braids that I use quite often. theres 0.25mm, 1.6mm, 0.75mm, 0.50mm .. Heres a 3ft purse net in 0.50mm , these nets are great for working hedges, e.t.c. as they handle really well and pick up very little debris. Plus hank up really well.. This Net has the last row of meshes in 0.75mm, and as you can see theres not a lot of difference in diameter compared to the 0.50mm.. Like Yourself Andy I think these twine types make really good Nets.. Regards..

    Been using crossbraided nylon for years now. It makes a nice net especially the 0.25mm for longnets. the 0.50 makes a nice purse net as does the 0.75mm.. Regards.
