  1. hi amte, what grain are they? plus what grain are the biz mags?
  2. You'll never read a bad review on any gun in a mag, Aaron, they're all too frightened about p*ssing off the manufactures or importers. If they do, they'll loose advertising revenue and they can't afford to do that with such a small market... Take all the 'reviews' you read in the mags with a very big pinch of salt The airgun press is just like all the other press, it's paid for and if they p*ss off the pay masters someone will pull the plug. thats true, but results are results and the FPS variaation was remarkable for a gas ram rifle. also the groups at 35yrds would challenge pcp'
  3. it had really good reviews from airgunner and airgun world. it got top accuracy and consistency from what i saw.
  4. have'nt had this with mine davy, did you give it a knock or anything?
  5. i've signed. mmakes we wanna get out there on my boat and follow trawlers around for free fish like hugh did
  6. lmao i usually just wallow around in the mud a bit! not only does this get rid of the scent but it also makes your camo look morre natural. if you want to go really extreme (and apparently even ATTRACT bunnies....?) you can use steve prices method of waching your camo in a grass concentrate made of freshly cut grass boiled down to a concentrate in water!
  7. i dont know in miles but i'd travel for about 45 min for a permission like that. well, i would travel much further but my dad wouldnt agree....
  8. hi mate! i would recommend something from the HW range. a hw95, hw 90 or hw80 would do great for you! an ok scope will cost you about £50 so thats fine. good luck mate!
  9. aqndy, how do you know this guys not genuine?
  10. if you find large lumps or little white capsules i wouldnt eat it as i think these are tapeworm cysts.
  11. hi mate, i'd be willing to travel to merthyr if you do your prices cheaper than arthur bales and sons + litts
  12. good bag! you must have a really good roost, i'd be lucky to get 3 in a evening!
  13. but can you consistently group 1" at 50yrds? if yo can then i admire your skill.
  14. the same i think and if there is any weight differnce it would be so small you wouldnt be able to notice it.
  15. hi steve, i'm a little scepticle about shots at 50yrds plus with an smk springer. i'm afraid i'd have to see that to believe it. i'm not calling you a liar, but it's hard to believe. Aaron.
  16. when i had a springer my max effective range was about 25yrds, and thats was from a solid position. now i have a pcp and it's much easier to achieve accuracy and i have over doubled my effective range. also you can lean them on anything and the accuracy will be fine unlike a springer.
  17. for a day out where i'm not really sure what i'm going to do i would take a gammebag with: mora knife, folding saw, hidenet face mask flasg (essential! has stopped me going home on many a winters day) pellets lamp plastic bags, jar a peanut butter (useful for holding squizzers and rats still) gloves n hat camera phone lenspen lens cloth oily rag for more specialised days (roost shooting, ratting ect) i wouldnt take half as much kit this is jst a general 'see how it goes' day.
  18. i have used my mates and they are very fun reliable little pistols. great for plinking, but would say the range is limited to about 10 yrds at the most for any real accuracy. i would recommend investing in a red dot scope as you can really make the most of the fast firing ability with these. yes they are legal (as long as they're under 6ftibs which they come no wehre near!) but why would you buy something without knowing wether or not it was legal?
  19. hi amte, im a little intrested, is it thermal/warm, does it come with liner? or is it just a waterpoof jacket.
  20. hi mate, intrested but what ltr, bar?
  21. hi, sorry to hijakc your thread mate but what do people think about spraying on the metal of your gun? carbonrocket on youtube did it, treating the stock and the action exactly the same (apart from the sanding, lol)
  22. sorry to hear that mate, you'll have to learn to shoot with your toes!
  23. bloody hell steve, you've obviously decided to skip gradually building up to having an expensive rifle over many years, to going riht to the top straight away! for hunting, i would say the hw100 as i'd be afraid of getting an air arms ev2 dirt with the slightest speck of mud! the hw100 is a very nice handling rifle and loads on here love em, but remember you will have to add on the cost of a divers bottle or pump on top of the cost of your rifle and theses cose over £100.
