  1. ah yes but you cant use a nikkos stirling for rangefinsing because the laser is in the scope. it dosent allow for triangulation its so close to the central axis.
  2. hi all, i've become increasingly intrested in the rangefinding capabilities of a gun mounted laser by means of triangulation. i know that the further the laser is from the central axis of the scope, the more3 accurat the rangefind will be whcih made me think if i could mount the laser beneath the cylinder of my s400 and drill the stock to allow me the put the wire under the action and the pressure pad come out near my tirger for a quick, fuss free rangefinder. just a couple of queations. what laser provides the tightest beam for this, and is there anyone who can make a custom part to fit my c
  3. hey mate, if you want to practice this then find a ivy bush. they have berried almost all year round and they make great targets, espeically if there backed by a leaf to show you wear you miss.

  5. hi mate, in ratting you very rarely take shots over 25yrds so extreme accuracy isnt essential. a short, light fas shouldering gun is. i would recommend a crosman ratcathcer as i did some feral work with a friend and used his and it was very good for a CO2 rifle. it was fully kitted with laser and scope which was perfect for the short range work and allowed you (even though we didnt) take shots from extreme angles using just eh laser as an aimpoint. he had 2 zeros, the rifle zeroed at 20yrds and the lazer at 10.
  6. hi all, i have for sale a Jack Pyke field shirt in English Oak camo size small. This has only been worn max 3 times and is like new. Very hard waring, made from heavy duty ripstop cotton. It has a different cut from most shirts, more suited to lifting the gun to your shoulder, and bending down, allowing you a lot more manouverability. It has pop studs instead of buttons and adjustable cuffs. It has to chest pockets. Jack pyke ahve stopped making these. It is perfect for summer use, being light, yet very tough. It isin english oak camo which i've found is great amongst british woodlands, being
  7. mice shooting mate! the tough old dogs (word for male squirrel?)are much harder to skin and eat.
  8. shoot at whatever range (be it 15 yrds, or 50yrds) you can put 10 shots in a pound sized area. if you cant do this past 20 yrds, 20yrds is your maximum hunting range and you'll have to learn to stlak closer.
  9. i've googled it. the stock looks similar but is not identcial i think and it is synthetic (rubber coated???) and green. looks like a nice hunting gun.
  10. is the jacket stil for sale? i will have it if it is.
  11. hi buster, the cylinder looks a bit long to be a carbine, although i may be mistaken.

  17. hi all, just a fun one, what's your dream standard rifle (not modded or interals tinkered or stock or anything). mine has to be an fx cyclone thumbhole walut which are about £800, regulated, the balance is the most perfect i've ever felt, and i want one!!! ATB Aaron.

  20. can i have 5 of the snap-e rat traps? i offer £10 pluz postage for five of them.
  21. a nice cheap lamp is the deben tracer atom. its very light and small but will give you enough illumination to take rabbits out to 45m. the dimmer will be a little bit extra money, but if your in a situation where you need to tone down the lamp (ferals, rats) then just putting on the red filter wil be enough.
