I used a chainsaw,there was a spout where the exhaust came out that was ideal for welding a threaded nipple to which is ideal for screwing a threaded metal pipe to. You do not really need to add extra oil,it is the carbon dioxide from the burning fuel that is toxic withthe 2stroke engines on most chainsaws,strimmers etc.

I made a living poaching salmon on the tweed for 15 years,and was proseuted several times ,as were we all,peril of the job.At the latter end of things ,as raiding houses became more prevalent we all knew never to have reciepts or even diaries about us. A friend of mine was involved in a prosecution on the tyne in which acquittal looked likely until the prosecution produced a diary from one of the accused,detailing fish caught etc.Prison sentences were the result of this. Imagine if we had all been posting on web sites about what clever,knowledgeable ,uncatchable one man crimewaves we were?

Troopers are good,you want the 3.1 engine,the newer 3.0 version is disaster prone.Be sure to check the chassis thourougly,this is another troublespot.I get about 28mpg out of my lwb 3.1 running about locally. Goes anywhere offroad though they are not the most refined of drives onroad,a bit truck like.

i have found this sort of farmer to be usedto intimadating people,I had several runins with one locally,over my driving along a track that is a vehichle right of way.After a frank exchange of views,andtelling him that as long as he chained the gate behind me i wasquitehappy to bolt cutter the lock,theupshot isthat i nowhave full permission to run my dogson his land. He still terrorises other people though.

Made up a smoker yesterday by welding a threaded nipple to my chainsaw exhaust that i then could screw a threaded pipe,about two feet long,to.Seemed to work fine but most of the rats i bolted were half grown,very few adults. The holes were all along a hedgerow,the rats have recently moved there to feed on a strip of bird feed. What i want to know is how long should they take to bolt,as they all bolted practically straight away,should i have kept smoking for longer? Do the adults take longer to bolt?

A farm we have got permission on told us that the rspca were releasing urban foxes there and i am inclined to believe him as when we were ferreting there on saturday we saw two foxes looking a bit lost in the middle of the day,

I remember way back ,when the ban was in the offing,going to a meeting to rally support locally.I looked around and it was full of the very people who would never,ever let me on to there land for a days ferreting,far less to chase a hare. Now that things were looking a bit dicey for there sport,they were quick to tell us that we must all stick together. Even though I do still go to our local hunt lurcher shows,the irony of it all is not lost on me. Plenty of would be dogmen post on here how great there dogs are,how fantastic the pups will be and people believe them,thinking one of these wonder dogs will bring them fame and internet fortune. Cue dissappointment and ruined dogs while these dog peddling wankers count the cash.This is certainly not confined to bullxs either. My bull x had four owners before me,all by 18 months,and she turned into a fine dog,for me anyway. I rarely read the forums anymore ,reading all the self aggrandising bullshit is too much for me,especially as I know some of the useless tossers bumming themselves up.

Why everyone gets so worked up about this beats me. They are a dog I thought i would never own but a quarter cross ended up in our local greyhound rescue and as I am friendly with the owner ,and run on their farm,I took her on and she is a good dog.She always gives 110%,she will tackle anything but she willnever,not surprisingly ,be a real hare dog.She is very obedient also. She is not without her faults,recklessness,barking in the car and I would'nt trust her with strange small dogs.Nor can she be trusted around ferrets. My sister has one,it is keen as mustard,had a few rats and young rabbits around the stables.However it is ,in my opinion,too small a nd lightly built for any type of serious work.it is tiny with legs like bone china,an accident waiting to happen at the speed it is capable of i would say.I did find an american site where they reccomended insurance to cover broken legs.

Does anyone on here have any experience of working speyed bitches?I ask as i am thinking of getting some of mine done after seeing a whippet bitch i borrow sometimes,she is speyed and has put no weight on and is as keen as ever.All my bitches are at present on devolsteron injections and the ones i intend breeding from will stay on these.So basically,what are your experiences with speyed bitches?
