yep same here , but have it emptied every 2 years , so about say 100£ quid per year and get our water from wales , it always tasted bit like old mutton to me as well haha , only joking lol, do'es it need emptying that often bird ,ive got two septic tanks one for a four bed farmhouse that's never been emptied since I bought the house 11 years ago and one that services two barn conversions that I have not emptied yet and that has been in 6 years and in my last house was there 15 years and did not empty it once

i worked in the forestry for years as a tree feller in the 1980s hard work and not lot of money but really enjoyed it ,like you say no paper work just grabbed a saw and tuned up,.worked with one lad who really worked fast but looked like a patch work quilt he was covered in that many scars ,its a dangerous job especially if you were felling on a slope , used to do a lot of work doing fire breaks ,I used to work for a sub contractor for the forestry commission basically all the out of the way places that were dangerous that that they didn't want to do themselves ,used to get bit to death i

the crux is it is not acceptable sh.g children in blighty Then keep them out of Blighty....problem solved. that would be the perfect solution but it wont happen and while they think its all right to behave like dogs and it be acceptable in there own country they will keep acting like dogs when they get to our shores which they do
