    I have as follows A retired 3/4 grey 1/4 collie bitch whom is spayed. An ex racing greyhound bitch which i intend to work this season if she stops injuring herself already or she will be found a nice pet home in the future. A 9 month old bull/greyhound bitch which will not be able to run much let alone work much when ready as she ruptured her cruciate knee ligament when a youngster and it still isn't much better than when we started so i hope she has some use, if not a pet home will be required for her.     Cheers for the reply and not taking it personally. I know that with retired dogs, and up and coming pups, you can often have double the dogs in your kennel than you really work. However i've seen a few folk on here that have like 6 working lurchers etc, or go out with groups of friends so anyone night/day they are running 6/8 dogs. Maybe they have a lot of injuries or a huge amount of game, but if your dogs are not super accident prone, two fit, working, capable dogs can work and take a huge amount of game, and i think are not really tested until they have had a good 4+ years or working someth

    Ideation i myself own 4 of those dogs, a retired bitch, a young pup that may possibly not have much of a woking life due to a ruptured cruciate knee ligament when younger, a 4 year old bitch who is my only worker at present and a greyhound that i may have fun with on the lamp but she has already bust a toe and a few others on her feet so she may be fecked after abit of hard running, MLB has a 6 year old dog that will soon be retired due to a recurring back injury, an 18 month bitch that will be shown alot of work this season and a 9 month bull x bitch in replace of the 6 year old and a couple

    To be honest if we went out to intentionally hunt we wouldn't of had so many dogs!! It was a leisurely, social summer walk with a few mates, the sort of things we do during the summer and we purposely walk where there will be a low chance of something popping up!

    I have an almost 9 year old bitch here and if i hadn't of had her spayed 5 years ago i would still breed her now, i think it depends how well your bitch is, my bitch still runs about like a youngster and doesn't really look her age but some dogs look ancient at 9!! If she is fit and healthy go for it but any pregnancy is risky, just more so with the older age, good luck whichever you decide.

    I wouldn't say she was overweight but she doesn't have much muscle definition either, get her fitter is what other people might mean by being 'overweight'.

    This show was the best i have ever been to! Was a fantastic weekend and was well worth pulling a sicky for! My arms are still aching from the brick lifting but the chocolates are still alive in the freezer after almost melting Was great to meet so many off of here and well done to all who organised and ran the show, i hope the sillyness on saturday hasn't ruined future shows as i will defonately be comeing back to this one!!

    Can't stand christmas, over rated, useless money spending shite, if you have kids under 10 then fair enough a few pressies under the tree but otherwise sod it! Hate spending money on others in the first place
