    Never had a problem running my bitches in season, never laid them off either, if they were layed off for ten weeks then another 14 weeks she be back in again, then another 10 weeks rest, season gone, what would be the point in owning a bitch to work if that was the case??

    Just watched this and must admit it made my eyes water, i went to battersea dogs home last year for a job interveiw and it is a hard fact of life that a hell of alot of dogs get put to sleep, i was told that even healthy non aressive dogs get put down because they just can't home them and need the space, they do a fantastic job and i do think that brandy shouldn't have been put down but they just can't afford to spend time on more training etc. Then you look on sites like epupz, just a never ending circle, thousands breed pups while thousands of dogs die!

    It reads to me like they want to sell the dam and whole litter for £1500 which is reasonable to me. As the average pup is sold at £200, for 9 pups that would be £1800 and your getting a grown working dog thrown in aswell!

    A good pre ban deer dog imo is one that has been shown enough to know what it's doing and to do it well. I don't think there is a 'bset' cross.

    Well said stewie!! I couldn't have worded it better myself! At least there are still some decent non sexist, non macho wannabees men about, i bet the only reason these men don't like women and hunting in the same sentence is because they are scared that the 'inferior' sex may be just as good if not better than them, happens in all aspects of life.

    Mine wear a muzzle to stop chewing/biting of stitches, the plastic ones used for greyhound racing, they can drink perfectly fine through them, well mine do! Good luck with her anyway.

    i dissagree on the women statement simoman no woman can do what we do,sorry you maybe saying this to get your leg over,but no way can a women control a 100lbs dog and get it of its quarry as quick as a man if you have a on top,and who the f-ck wants to be banged up with a women if it comes on top,get real fella Never read so much bollox, no woman can't handle a 100lb dog aswell as a man, whatever mate! Because ALL men are so superior and stronger than women. Maybe you could handle a 100lb dog, you look like a well built woman on your profile pic Straight out of Prisoner C

    Well i haven't met any particularly handsome hunting men either tbh!! Not all women look like or SMELL like men in disguise I'll have you know i am also a clean freak in the house and if i had my way all shoes would be taken off before walking through the door, i also bath everyday to so stop stereo typing! I also have no whinging brats to contend with and have no intention to do so for a while either, the dogs take up all my free time! It's not hard to get a big dog off of a nasty big rat either! you lieing b@sterd you mety me Oh sorry hopper i forgot about you!! Truely
