I remember at St. John’s chapel show years ago I was talking to an oldish man about his terrier,I said do you get out with it much his reply was yeh she carriers the paper back from the shop on a morning and likes it down the garden.I just shook my head and walked away.

No goldfinch as my mate I got off said he knows a couple of lads with them were goldfinch lives.

I’ve had my kids out since they were 4yrs old and they are 30 and 24 now.When I tell them the amount we used to get in the 80s and early 90s they look at me as if I’m on the gange.They don’t believe me because of what they see these days but I’m glad I had a good run at it before these days now.

Honest mate I’ve always said I would move to Scotland tomorrow as I think it’s that stunning,I’m the same as you a pestie I’ve done a good bit of work up there and had a few say they have family that has moved from there to near me and I think they are mad from the views they have up there and think they are mad.But they have always said we don’t realise what we have until they move.

A lot of people from down country has never seen what it like up north mate it’s gods country but there is only 1 fault with the lakes or Scotland it has its own weather,but if you catch them right for a week of sun you will never want to go abroad again mate.

Ya got offered a pup a while ago mate you could of had it up and ready for the season with ya stinkers,don’t take this the wrong way as the wife’s father is in the same boat as you.we lost her mother to cancer and he has been on a downer ever since (5)yrs now.He has never fancied a dog until 5mths ago as he has realised he needs a kick up the arse as they had done everything together,he ended up wanting a English bull terrier which shocked me as that’s always been my retirement dog as I think they are stunning.Anyway he got 1 for £2000 as loved getting out just like you have realised mate.It d
