    I think they can no longer have the nanny dog tag, that was in days long gone, when culling out bad traits was more prominent, now they are breed and breed for cash, colour and look, so there are some real scatty bulls out there.

    I always thought it was because half the lurcher world see the dogs as a tool, nothing more, and if the tool doesnt do what they want, they sell it, and try another tool, and so on and so forth. Not my own way, but each to their own. Shame though for the dogs, being passed from pillar to post.

    most first crosses look pretty simular (f1) but if you get too f2 or throw anything else in the mix, it all becomes far more varierbal.

    Mines that breeding, and I'm more than happy with him. I think you'll enjoy bring yours on. Mines a bit head strong, but a hard worker, and pretty flexible in his hunting.

    The red light can be used to spot the rabbits, then once spotted you take off the filter and run the dog. I don't use one.

    Its not just an age thing, its an anti "chav" thing. If you dress a certain way then you must be a certain "type" in their simple world view. Too many people think their better than others, and their way is the only way to do things. Stuck up know it alls that have a very similar outlook on life to the anti hunting crowd. A short sighted view of things. Single minded simpletons imho.
