And it's still not even remotely like Johannesburg! Seriously gentlemen put the tin foil hats away! If you can realistically foresee a Britain resembling post apartheid South Africa you need to take a long look at Britain and how you want it to be. If you're willing to let such a humongous slide in everything that makes us different from South Africa, go unchallenged, then maybe you're part of the problem. Either that or you have an extremely dim view of the 70million neighbours who sure as f**k don't want to live in anything resembling Soweto.

I can't disagree with anything you've just posted. But I'm still failing to draw the connection of how post apartheid South Africa can even remotely compare to 2015 Britain. The leap in logic to see Britain as the murder, home invasion, rape, and car jacking capital of the world, is far larger than the distance between London and Johannesburg! Apples and a 1987 Ford Fiesta!

Violent crime has been on the decline, in the US, for decades. It's now comparable to the 1960's. Home invasions are not a common occurence, and like most 1st world countries are tied in with drugs, and money associated with them. I've not been over to the UK for a short while... Has there been a sudden surge in Port Elizabeth-esque crimes? Gated communities? Shanty towns and tribal wars? To show a 6 minute YouTube clip, of a home invasion in SA, and then say this is what Britain has in-store is nothing other than fear mongering, and outright paranoia. I must admit when I see these people interviewed complaining about capitialism, from their parents house, the ironymeter goes off the f***ing charts. I saw one kid with a few grands worth of instruments, complaining about it. The Yank interviewer asked him where his parents were... At work... Even the yanks are laughing at that one.

I'd rather see that money coming off everyday living expenses. It's our money. Not the governments. They don't have a choice what to spend it on because they shouldn't have it in the first place.

Hard to say at this stage. I'm of the same opinion as BH, and it needs way more research. Whatever the cost of being in the EU is you will never see any of that money in your pockets, if we leave. Westminster will find another use for it.
