What would make you say that mate ?...because they havent won anything for 5 years ? in historical terms 5 years is a blink of an eye....they have a massive tradition and history,have been in the top flight of English football longer than any other club,have won nearly as much honours as any other club,have possibly the most fantastic ground in Europe,have a huge following,are in no real debt,and continue to get European football every year. Chelsea are a sunday league club in comparison.

What you talking about national football for we are talking about what LEAGUE is the strongest To use your theory of different clubs making for a stronger league.... England have had 4 DIFFERENT clubs in the champions league final in the last 7 years,Man Utd,Chelsea,Arsenal and Liverpool......Spain have had 1,Barcelona......of those 7 years England have had a representative in 6 of the 7 finals.....Spain have had a representative in 3 including this year. Now tell me.....am i telling the truth or being arrogant ? surely its not possible to do both.

I think Cameron would kick the c**t out of him myself.......watched a clip on the news of the both of them playing table tennis in some nick somewhere,Cameron looked shit hot as it happens Obama was standing there mesmerised i reckon Camerons the better athlete....then again he would probably pussy out like a big girls blouse if things got too tough like he does with everything else....so who knows.

Well as it happens i was talking about best as in England/Scotland in reply to the fella....not best as in best in the world.....read back over my reply to the other chap it will make sense then. Baw you are talking strongest in relation to how many different clubs can win it,im talking about best in relation to the 20 clubs in the league,i say again....i make our mid and lower league far superior to near any other country in the world,add to that the fact we virtually every year have at least 1 club reach the semis of the champions league....id say thats good argument to say over the whol

If your going to debate something you need to pay attention.....where did i say England was the best,where did i say England was a great footballing nation,the debate was between English and Scottish football not Europe or the World. The standard of football in England is far higher than the standard of football in Scotland...that was the point and it was a very simple one.

Yep its a fair comment and i wouldnt argue either way....that was THE most heartbreaking game ive ever been to simply because we was cruising that day and it was our first season back in the premiership ! All id say is the great players can read situations quicker and clearer than anyone,some players are just not on the same wavelength as players like Beckham and so certain things dont come off......i think if you asked most England followers they would say the same as me....maybe at club level you might be right,interesting anyway
