Not really mate....for a start the booths were not 10 or 12 round fights....the unlicensed shows of the Mclean/Shaw times were proper organised bouts with a purse at the end you couldnt just queue up and get a fight.....infact the only similarity really was that they both went under the queensbury rules.

Thats it....not sure exactly where but i know it was in the Welsh outback somewhere.....he felt it was a pretty picturesque place so where better to have a truckstop ......shouldnt laugh really its a sad story for sure.

I agree with that....its certainly not nice simply because of the age of the kids and the fact some were girls....but getting wrapped across the knuckles,the cane or slipper was perfectly acceptable and infact promoted by most parents not too long ago.....nobody ever called that a " beating "....and when its done by a 6ft 4 18 stone rugby playing pe teacher its no fun even as a 13/14/15 year old.... Its the age/sex of the kids that makes your blood boil about this clip.

Lads....sometimes in top level sport you just gotta hold your hands up and accept you,ve been beaten by a far superior opponent......On that performance by Barcelona last night Utd,Liverpool,Chelsea or Arsenal could play them every night of the week and never beat them.....the fact Utd only lost 3-1 proves to me they are the best team in England ! In the top flight continuosly yes....Everton have spent more seasons in the top flight and are a slightly older club but as an uninterrupted period in top flight football Arsenal are the longest by a long way....infact i think Arsenal are pretty much double what any other club has done. Goalkeeper ....your point was they are not a great club.....have a look at their history,ground,following,level they continue to compete at etc etc......not a great team over the last few years no ( although still within the best 4 in England )....but a great club no doubt about it
