Best of luck to the lad in whatever he does next....dont strike me as the sort of chap likely to stay in the game which is a shame......but certainly a fantastic servant to his club and a great example to younguns,even if he was a hothead on occasions. For what its worth id have Gerrard in my team rather than Scholes....both great players intheir own right though

Dont say that he,ll have your guts for garters In all fairness id say Celtic are a much bigger club than West Ham but pretty much on the same level now in terms of ability on a football pitch......and light years away in terms of players they produce. The beauty of playing in a top level competetive league is it keeps your expectations realistic

Now i dont claim to be the brightest spark.......but last i heard the number that comes after 1......is 2 If you didnt put another league between numbers 1 and 2 that suggests you think the English league is number 2 and the Spanish league is number 1 ....i have got that right ? Aint that the truth....im on my 9th day without leaving the house !....Ive got a phone,miniature fridge,toilet facilities the tv remote and a laptop all within arms reach and thats my life at the moment.....friends of mine,even family have stopped answering the phone i even rang my sister yesterday and i cant stand her im just bored out of my skull.....i think even if a Philipino boy does turn up i might just drag him in and demand he sits and watches a bit of telly with me !....sad innit

Steve has yours actually been diagnosed as Sciatica ?....yours sounds identical to mine and im only really going on what i was told years and years ago as regards it actually being Sciatica....but ive never had it like this which is why im starting to wonder if it is Ive also had a lot of rough tough sport over 30 odd years and the ol body has certainly taken some stick so as you say maybe you pay the price.....my pain is all around the base of my spine,around the hips and into the cheeks of my arse....but only occasionally down my legs,not as far as my feet though. Thanks very much for the advice What strikes me as abvious in reading the replies is you all sound like your pretty mobile while you have it.....im actually completely out the game it takes me 5 minutes just to stand up and straighten up,moving round the house youd think i was 99 years old !....Im on some fancy orthopaedic mattress virtually the whole day and have been for over a week ! Ive had sciatica on and off for about 20 years,maybe 1 or 2 short 3/4 day bursts of it every year....some flat out rest and it clears up on its own.....but the fact its only improving very slightly is

He was actually shot through the eye.....the rifle was found stood in an upright position next to his body and his hands were on his knees when he was found......they proved that it wasnt impossible for him to have shot himself by leaning the rifle on the top of the front seat,where it COULD have fallen into the position it ended up in after the trigger was pulled.....however...the thing that gave the big doubts was that Freddies eye was open when the bullet entered,something experts said was extremely unlikely in the event of it being suicide..... Just rang my ol fella to ask him a bit about Turpin...apparently all the Turpin brothers Randy,Jackie and Dick all fought in the booths,often on the same night !...reckons they were real nice fellas ( not a bad bone in their body were the exact words )...they had a terrible upbringing being some of the first blacks in the area they lived in piss poor housing all the boys suffered badly with pneumonia and bronchitis due to damp living conditions....he reckons Randys old promoter Jack Solomons had something to do with his death and had done Randy out of near every penny he had ...( but then my o

Any of you chaps have any experience with these people......and if so whats the difference ? Been laid out flat for 8 days after my back went.....ive suffered with Sciatica before usually a few days rest and some anti inflams sorts it out.....but starting to wonder if its not going to be so simple this time.... Gonna get on the phone tomorrow but not sure which to phone....and are they likely to come out cos i cant get to them. Im getting sick of posting on here i need to get my life back
