    .....who said anything about class......i said he is one of the most exciting fighters out there which he is.......virtually every fight he has is an exciting fight......very often the best fighters dont compete in the best fights Mayweather/Klitchko being perfect examples......when a fighter has flaws to his game like Khan does it makes for an exciting fight. I think you know the game a little bit better than to believe a fighter can become a world champion without being a very good fighter

    I meant in a financial way not in a popularity contest kind of way..........its the same as David Haye......the sport in general worldwide really wanted Haye to become a superstar of the sport.....again,a big money attraction,a good looking athlete,exciting fighter..............British fight fans dont come into it as we make up a tiny percentage of world boxing fans....besides which we are a strange funny bunch when it comes to backing our athletes anyway that doesnt stop some of our fighters being big money attractions !.........Why do you think the Klitchkos are desperate to get Haye back ou

    One thing you simply cannot do when it comes to charity and making folk aware etc...........is bully folk or try to put people on guilt trips..........fundraising/charity is a very personal thing..........i have every sympathy for homeless soldiers,but i put children in need of help before grown men any day of any week and always will.......i dont hold the value of an ex soldiers life above anybody elses........at least these boys have had an adult life........theres a lot of kids out there who never experience that luxury.     He became a world champion....that IS that level......the sport is constantly crying out for superstars....Khan is a very exciting fighter,has a good look about him,a big ticket seller........he has everything needed to be a superstar of the sport............look at the powers of the sport worldwide,people like Delahoya they will have been praying Khan won last night...........Paquiao has lost and drawn fights but has proved to be a superstar of the sport through longevity....something Khan hasnt yet.......but the big fights will come for Khan thats a fact.

    :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: faster hands a lot less milage and a lot bigger. neither would win,but khan would give mayweather trouble,pac wouldn't. imo We was only saying that this morning....i totally agree with you Blan.......Paquiao is made for Mayweather stylistically......if Khan came out with no respect for Mayweather and did his old windmill style attacks he has a chance of getting him out early........i dont think he would or could beat Mayweather....but neither could Paquiao.........in my opinion.

    I had Khan winning by 2 points less the 2 points he had taken off but you cant argue too much when its close like that......this loss wont do him any harm at all he,s not like some of the recent Brits who will only take a fight he,s a dead cert to win or frightened to travel and fight opponents in their back yard.....he,s still got plenty of years ahead he can come again......A friend of mine pointed out to me how Khan cannot fight on the inside and he,s exactly right,thats why Khan was getting points docked because rather than fight his way out he either pulls down on the back of the neck or

    Like everything theres different levels.....i wasnt born into it i never saw a field or tree till i was an adult .....i do remember a " family friend " type person taking me and my brother out to Epping Forest to catch a rabbit when i was young....i think i cried ....but the experience stayed with me until near 35 years later when i moved out to a country type area and having had another type of dog for years i got in with a few of the locals who took me out hunting......and that was it......im the first to admit im no hardcore hunter like some of the folks on here it is just that for me....

    Down here that used to be a term for folk who carry on like the ol girls who work in laundarettes....between folding sheets they would turn any little conversation into .....     Who can tell how they would act.......im a very competetive person id probably have offered him a little wager and gone somewhere quiet and done it properly ..... id do whatever i could to avoid getting in a fight in a public place with some everyday mush thats not competetive at all and wouldnt appeal to me in the slightest.....but i couldnt stand by and watch someone bullied like that either so again,who knows how we will act in any situation.     Theres plenty of good going on in the world just nobodies interested anymore.........its of more interest these days to highlight a woman calling people wogs on a tram than it is to highlight some good hearted soul doing charity work in their local community....................doing good just doesnt sell like doing bad does....sad really.

    It was a good program but that interview with Benn was 4 years ago...nothing new came from the program and all it really did for me is emphasise the huge difference between those 2 men and their backgrounds.......Mclellen was from the gutter,the people around him were from the gutter.....he was a fantastic fighter but had no class about him whatsoever....whereas Benn,s entire career was utterly professional in every way,i remember watching Nigel in West Ham boxing club just before he turned pro with Burt Macarthy,it was like watching Tom Jones sing a song or Pele play football....you just knew

    What he/she meant was there are many supplements in the sporting world that are taken totally without evidence of any actual physical benefit.........the person takes them and believes in their own mind they are experiencing benefit when in reality their is no actual physical benefit whatsoever.............its a big debate in the supplement world.....hence my belief is if you treat a supplement as a supplement and not an essential..............what possible harm can it do either way.....again,i dont need a weatherman to tell me when its raining
