Sound like nice well adjusted kids you've done good mate parenting should come natural but it didnt to me and i messed up 90% of it but always said if there was one thing i got right it was that they knew their manners i could take my boy anywhere and he wouldnt embarrass me. I remember those old Waverunners they were very stable skis ive still got a few of the old Kawasaki stand ups from the 80's and a nice modern Yamaha FX over in Cyprus but hitting the water at 60 mph isnt my idea of fun so i old man that one but still chuck the stand ups around a bit, this growing up lark is hard work

You was lucky enough to witness a new era in Heavyweight arm wrestling as you saw the very start to the reign of Levan as a great in the sport....i didnt think he could beat Vitali Laletin that day but he's looked pretty much unbeatable since although Ermes Gasparini pushed him very close a few months back and did pin him a few times.....Cyplenkov is back close to full fitness and beat John Brzenk recently.....ive been going over to Turkey every few months for the East v West tournaments if you're interested you can watch them on Coresports Tv for something like a tenner its stacked full of re

Thats right he is....in terms of a pure sportsman Devon for me has the perfect attitude to sport he is horrible and nasty before and during competition but win or lose gracious and humble afterwards....ive been fortunate enough to meet and chat with him on many occasions over the years and a more helpful and encouraging gentleman you'll never meet he's the epitome of what arm wrestling is all about in my opinion.
-
Ive heard the name mate but no he's not an elite puller, like most sports theres the top recognised official organisations athletes compete under and im not aware he has competed under them the Wrexham analogy is spot on really

Whos your team mate ? apologies if ive asked before.

Great stuff all apart from the last bit bollocks to that ?....but as you rightly say whatever it takes in them teenage years, lovely healthy looking family fair do's,the benefits of outdoor living....is that an old Yamaha Waverunner i spotted there ?....getting a bit old for all that caper now but always loved a jet ski.

Devon Larratt would be totally unbeatable if he stayed within his own weight division but he keeps going after the giants.....the man has probably done more to promote the sport than anyone alive he's a decent man and a brilliant sportsman.

That film is what got most people interested i was actually travelling around America as a young boxer in the 80's and stumbled into what they used to call the Yukon Jack Tournament....the eventual winner of that Over the Top tournament a guy named John Brzenk who went on to be the greatest arm wrestler in history was doing open table pulls with the general public and me and my gym mate walked up to pull him, well low and behold i got a pin on him without really knowing what i was doing....he beat me 5 or 6 times straight after just to make a point ?....but he said some kind words about me and

To be a really good arm wrestler one of the first things you have to be able to do is get past your own ego....everybody loses occasionally you just cant have a bad attitude in competitive arm wrestling its a really friendly sport where everyone learns from each other and you strive to be the best you can be ive been beaten by smaller chaps than myself and ive beaten bigger chaps than myself its about so much more than strength/power and ego. All that pulling across pub tables is pathetic and as you say either leads to fights or more often than not injury.....you'll see more broken arms a

The kid competes at a high level but still hasnt beaten any of the real top guys.....yes he has incredible anatomic strength just by nature but is very limited in his technical ability.....theres positions his joint and tendon strength alone will see him through but the real top pullers will put him in positions he doesnt want to be in and attack the weaknesses and areas that anyone of his young years will have.

Well would you believe it....id just about given up trying to get people on here into arm wrestling ? Yes Alan Fisher is still going he was world lightweight champion at one point.....injuries do become a factor but its a blindin sport.... a very pure sport...beyond an actual fight its just about the closest most personal form of confrontation you could ever have theres just so much going on at the table both mentally and physically......technical ability and knowledge is everything but of course a good dose of strength and fitness doesnt go amiss.

Some good fights over the weekend i thought the lad Billam Smith held it together well i think id have had to kick that c**t Okolie in the face holding on like that....thats the trouble when you rely on power and have never learned how to box and move. Thought that lad Jack Catterall boxed beautifully i really enjoyed watching him, hopefully he go's on to world honours. Wasnt at all surprised that lad Conlon got chinned again ive never seen what the fuss was about with him.

The sign is still there, the whole frontage is exactly the same as it ever was at its a listed building........but the track and everything else is a housing development now ?
-
Nonsense.....people in rural Berkshire probably say exactly the same about London and will do until its on their doorstep.........Dublin is a f****n toilet mate gangs of spades kicking the shit out of local lads whats the difference....if you cant see how nations across Europe are being attacked from the Cities outwards then you are very naive, and if you think your countrymen will have some sort of " dont f**k with us attitude " then you are completely deluded.

I used to be really conscious of the whole first impressions thing being a big ugly f****r id always try to put people at ease but kids are just fearless only a few weeks ago a kid maybe 8 or 9 came hurtling past on one of them skateboard/scooter type things he went arse over tit and landed in a crumpled heap....it was just automatic reaction to pick him up and brush him down etc.....the mum came running up saying thanks and whatever but the dad gave me such a look,i thought go on i dare you !.....i know the rules are different now but im f****d if im going to sit by and watch a kid crying his

I remember conditioning dogs on a bike down the River Lea years ago when one time the dog caught sight of some sheep on the other side of the river.....dragged me into the water, bike dropped on top of me ended up a complete mess......still never let go of the dog lead though ?

Shame that....we lost our Walthamstow Stadium a while back, had some good memories and fun evenings there....another attack on the traditions of normal working class folk.

Dont think ive ever enjoyed an away defeat as much as yesterday it was just one big sing song we even cheered the Leicester goals Prague here we come lets get this thing won.

Much as i agree i do think part of it is down to a lack of trust i sent a couple of young lads i know to help an old boy out the other week and he threatened to phone the police ?...it took them 10 minutes to make him understand the whole mutual friend thing....similarly i stopped to help a young lady with car trouble not that long ago she politely told me to go away in a " you could be anyone " kind of way.....theres just no trust in communities anymore sadly.

The whole of Europe had the heads up for the last 40 years mate they didnt want to know just called us names. Again,we're not the Far Right we're the Right so Far !
-
Exactly its the same across Europe we stopped at Ghent and Flanders the other week watching the Hammers and they were still lovely idyllic places with strong traditional communities but carry on across to Brussels and its an absolute hell hole....i remember talking to the chap on here who moved to Ireland when he was saying about the white traditional areas i said but you can get that here in England to which he replied yes but not as cheap as Ireland and so yes i get that it costs more to live in a rural part of England than it does in Ireland...but to make out like Ireland is some kind of sa

Rehydration clauses are one thing but this wasnt even a clause with check weights and so on....24 hours is normal but they managed to stretch that to 32 hours....and then on the day of the weigh in actually weighed in 4 hours earlier than scheduled making it 36 hours !.....by the time Haney got to the ring he was a middleweight....lets see how he would of fared against Marvin Hagler !!!...its spoiling the game....ive said for as long as i can remember get fighters weighed in before the fight in the ring itself if you really want fair contests.
-
I couldnt care less what you do but for you to constantly deride the English for doing exactly what you are doing is just ridiculous.....i dont hate the Irish in the same way that you seem to hate us English but i can see exactly whats going on there in the same way anyone else with the internet can see it....bury your head mate it makes no difference to me like i said you seem to think the Irish are a super species that will resist what the rest of Europe cant and wont but it seems to me you simply dont understand how this war on the west actually works.....people in some little rural hamlet

An " American XL Pit Bull inside of the property attacked him " As per usual,if we dont know what breed of dog it is and it looks vaguely similar to a pit bull.....we'll call it a Pit Bull !
