To try and pretend that womens netball is being sold to us with the same political intensity that womens football and womens rights in general is would just be silly and you know it.....yes we are all sick of certain aspects regards mens elite level football but for me the only people buying into this total hijacking of the game in order to score political points are the utterly blind/naive or the people its all aimed at,the liberal leftie luvvies. Regards boxing ive said many times id rather be around small hall pro shows than the big events all day long and actually lose interest in man

Parky always looked slightly intimidated in them interviews like he couldnt/shouldnt say what he wanted to say. Always thought he had a great chemistry with Freddie Starr like they genuinely enjoyed each others company.

In the same way as i hope the English netball team win or an English table tennis player wins i hope the womens football team win.....but lets have it right its f****n pony !.....i managed about 10 minutes the other week and quickly realised ive watched a better standard of football at boys under 14 level.......they dont put world cup netball on telly and this pathetic politics in sport dont wash with me so couldnt really give a bollock but hope they win as id want any other English person/team to win.

Not sure about boiled but i know they put a couple of coats of linseed oil on cricket bats just rubbed on with a cloth a few days before a game.

Well thats all very mature of you squire i bet you're a real bundle of fun on a night out ! Or is it only Man City fans who can act silly celebrating their victories because they play football " the right way " ? Beckham always struck me as a good lad and a fine footballer,people i know who knew him or knew of him growing up also speak highly of his personality and character so thats good enough for me......the rest of it,his bird,the brand etc....couldnt give a bollock !

It is mad looking back at the risks you take when you're young,the psychology of it all is fascinating i remember years ago a study was done by a doctor to do with steroids in sport it was called Goldman's Dilemma.....he put a question to a big number of Olympic level athletes that if you could take a magic pill that meant you will win the gold medal but you will die 10 years after would you do it......the vast majority said they would ! Focused driven youngsters are wonderful to see.......to the point that their goals become obsessions,then those qualities starts getting dangerous.

Heres the reality....over the last 10 years we average 10th position in the greatest league in world football....we are no longer a yo yo club we are a solid premiership club with 11 straight seasons in the top flight....having finished 6th/7th and 14th in the last 3 years we are now closer to our much bigger London rivals than we've been for a long time....having seen our under 18 side win the league and FA Youth Cup,our senior side win a European trophy,we have had a better season than Arsenal/Spurs and Chelsea put together ! 43 years ive waited for that moment the other night its been without doubt the best few weeks of my West Ham life....tears of joy with lifelong pals,my son who ive always had a strained relationship with telling me a few days before " dad if we're going to win this i want to be with you when it happens ", i was a complete emotional wreck the whole trip....yes its a 2 bob competition but being a fan of your club is about the memories you make that will last a lifetime so i feel blessed to have been there with other long standing fans of what has always been our local family club.
