  1. Said it before and i,ll say it again......you have a one of your own outlook mate i like that about folk.
  2. Saucy c**t ....get back to your Breaking Bad and hurry up and tell me what its like !
  3. Really ?.....well theres only one way to find out lets ask him......your a straight talking chap Socks and i like to talk straight as well......was you talking about me ? You only have to listen to folk sometimes to know their experience/knowledge of something hence i wont often comment if i dont have either.
  4. Hooray thank god someones had the bollocks to say it .......i dont think its a mental issue more a case of basic little man syndrome !
  5. When we was young we did anything it took to get out of the place but over time ive realised you cant change who you are......ive got close pals who still live in the East End,also some who like me have moved out but we still miss it.....i love where i live now its clean, lovely scenery etc ive really enjoyed country life......but ive never felt comfortable here....im a big horrible looking c**t who folk cross the road to avoid round here yet in Canning Town folk dont bat an eyelid.......me and my pals can go in a nice country pub round here and its all whispers and a horrible atmosphere most o
  6. What on earth are you talking about .....go and tell people how massive Sunderland are a few hundred more times. No question about it.......still doesnt change the fact he stopped in 30 minutes.
  7. Spurs looked like they lost their heads then.....lovely story for Leicester, what dreams are made of.......i cant help thinking the quality of the premier league has slipped a long way this season though.......but they have won it easily and good luck to them.
  8. Thats right those " old hands " just bred the arse off curs like Bullyson and sold any buckskin colour dog they could get their hands on to all corners of the globe like ol Don did !................like i said mate those old tapes are great for historical interest but dont let yourself fall into the trap of thinking they were good old boys who were whiter than white..... time stands still for no man/dog and todays top competitors are far superior to yesterdays......and thats how it should be.
  9. No dogs on shots in the 70,s and ,s ....yeah alright.
  10. Lets see what big job either of them 2 get next then eh
  11. There we go you got the idea you have to get into the nooks and crannies of an area to see what its really like.......anyway the Knave aint there no more its a posh French Restaurant now
  12. Anywhere round Star Lane from the Durham right down to the Peacock Gym both sides of the A13 even as far down as the docks and Custom House you will find plenty of solid communities who have stayed put through the generations and maintained traditional life from pubs to sport to crime its no different now to what it was when we was kids yes theres darkies and pakis same as there ever was but you dont get hoards of East Europeans and Africans setting up their own communities locals still have enough about them not to stand for it.
  13. Makes you laugh with this Hughie kid he,s been a pro longer than Joshua yet the same people moaning about Joshua fighting rollovers dont mind a more experienced pro like Fury being babied along in absolute nothing fights......if Joshua had not of won a gold would it be acceptable for him to have these sort of fights as well ? As for all this Kassi fought the man who Joshua is fighting so that makes him a tough opponent ......you dont fight a name you fight a man whos to say the same man was in the same shape with the same desire for both opponents !
  14. What is the debate anyway? Hahaha. Of course it was a weapon to close distance and create openings, but everybody saw what happened when he neglected it. It was vital to his game IMO. I,ll have one last try for you to say Tyson had a great jab he would of had to out jab other good jabbers.....and he never......Douglas beat him up with the jab alone....even Tucker before that some folk believe he should of got the decision because of the jab.......Tyson would of had a good jab in the light heavyweight division, guys of his size.....but he could never of won a fight with his jab he was a slugg
  15. When you say out jabbed.....do you actually think he could of out pointed either of those 2 gents over 12 rounds on his jab ?.......his jab wasnt a stand alone punch like a Liston jab that would damage whatever it hit or a peak Holmes jab that could win fights it was purely a filler he could never of won a fight with it which is the benchmark for a great jab surely.......i dont think Tucker beat him but he certainly showed the way he was going to be beaten.....as for the fanatics/excuses etc i couldnt agree more ive said for years he was a good champion probably on par with someone like Ezzard
  16. What you suggesting mate that they didnt exist ?.....the records are out there and documented for anyone to see of the dogs around in those days......guys like Mayfield put their all into what they did and got the best results they could for the era they was in the dogs what more can you ask.
  17. Any of you chaps into your expensive wines/spirits either to drink or as an investment if your ever in London check out a shop just off Berkeley Square called Hedonism......go downstairs and have a look round its a real eye opener.
  18. Yes i watched all 7 series over the months Peter was it you that recommended them to me i cant remember i know it was someone off here.......it was a lot better than i thought, the first series was a struggle it felt like as soon as you get familiar with a character they get killed ....but yes i found it quite addictive,i think once you can get passed the stage of accepting how 30 people can get killed and plod dont even take a fingerprint or nobody reports their father/son/brother missing you can enjoy it for what it is .......i liked the later series best i thought the guy Nero was a cool c
  19. funny you should say that about sports exercise etc, an old fella I work with kept racing/coursing greyhounds all his life and although he's mostly retired now he thinks the dogs in the 80's were better conditioned and stronger through work than what they are now... Maybe he's just full of romantic memories of the dogs he had?! Or maybe dog owners now rely a lot more on chemicals and nutrition than before? I dont know much about racing/coursing dogs mate as ive never really been around them but in terms of the video posted the art of peaking a competition bulldog today compared to the ,s
  20. Unless your going to move right out into the sticks where time stands still then everywhere is going to change to a degree......i can live with that.....obviously when the time comes that you cant even hold a conversation with folk in day to day life in an area then its time to move on.......but personally i never moved away from the East End because of foreigners i just think sometimes you outgrow an area and want to live in nicer surroundings but i,ll never forget where im from or ever disrespect it as a manor i love the place......i just wish important people loved is as much as i do.
  21. Perfectly normal mountain climbing attire........aint it ? LIttle Havens Kids Hospice over Benfleet way
  22. f****n hilarious how gullible some folk are you can see now why they had Our Enery splashing it all over every day
  23. What is the debate anyway? Hahaha. Of course it was a weapon to close distance and create openings, but everybody saw what happened when he neglected it. It was vital to his game IMO. 24. Sounds like a decent night out when your 18 lol There we go thats the spirit.......for scatty little hoodlums without a pot to piss in you couldnt find a more exciting place to live than the nastier parts of East or South London.
  25. Yes i do think my part of East London is better......but after a lifetime rivalry with Rotherhithe/Bermondsey that go,s a lot deeper than just football ive come to have a grudging respect for them over the years.....ive said for some time now if they wasnt from where they are id probably quite like some of them....but they,re not so f**k em.......but yes i accept what your saying.......then again anywhere the other side of the Old Kent Rd then forget it
