  1. To have quick hands you need even quicker feet.....im nobody to criticise a world champion boxer but if theres a flaw he has always had its having hands that are too fast for his feet......he often lets his hands go before his feet are set which leaves him vulnerable to the counter.......its a catch 22 as if he slowed his hands down he wouldnt be the same fighter but would be technically better.......Nigel Benn was like it at the start of his career it wasnt until he slowed his hands down that he could absorb a shot better. Khan is very upright and doesnt show much head movement which agai
  2. Sometimes you just get the feeling a manager has the personality to suit a club Ranieri seemed a nice humble well mannered sort of chap who would go down well with a community type club with no big stars and big egos i would imagine he could really get the best out of players......whereas someone like Mourinho at a club like Leicester would probably make the players feel star struck and beneath him......id like to see Mourinho do what Ranieri has just done turn up at a nothing 2 bob club and win the league with room to spare......i think some managers just are what they are and you know what y
  3. Lovely win for Crolla just shows the rewards hard work and dedication can bring he,s on a nice little run at the moment.
  4. And do what go and work in a chicken factory ?........not everyone can just pack up trying to earn a living because they cant be world champion mate
  5. Plenty of fighters have retired undefeated but when they are sitting telling their story to the grand children later on in life.......will they hand on heart be able to tell them that they really truly pushed themself to the absolute limit of their ability and seeked out the toughest competition available to them......when all the smoke has cleared a fighter only has himself to answer to.....if he knows he fought the toughest opponents out there and pushed himself beyond his own capabilities then win or lose that is the true glory.....not a nice pretty undefeated record.......i still speak to

Young and still unborn children will pay the price, not the previous 3 generations. But there are 50 million indigenous white people in this country,it's not even nearly over yet. Couldnt agree more and best of luck to you,s hopefully your generation has more backing and loyalty than ours did.
  7. Long Good Friday ?....or not.
  8. In my experience the majority of people who take gear for a reason ( sport/competition etc ) are extremely knowledgable about what they are putting into their bodies. Whereas the people who take gear for no reason ( doormen/disco muscles etc ) dont know very much at all and generally just put whatever into their body they are told to. Much like dogs and dog shows.....people who actually work/compete with dogs tend to have a far greater knowledge of fitness than people who prance about at dog shows. Its the difference between do,ers and dreamers.
  9. I couldnt give a f**k if it looks like im arse licking............... if ol Stan writes something i read it........and posts like this are why. Basic common sense and pure honesty make for such easy reading.

Its a common theme through life how the people who dont have the guts for a fight always end up becoming victims and blaming others. As adults we make our own choices in life thats why we dont get to vote until we are 18.......as 18 year olds some of us in this country had the guts for a fight but were let down by our own people.....we dont sit around now calling ourselves victims and blaming others we lost and are now paying the price......seems perfectly fair to me.
  11. In top level sport you win some you lose some......if you are rubbish you dont compete in top level sport still not buying it, he didn't dominate his own division before taking that fight, if he had but got beat there would be plenty on here saying fair play be tried, myself included, like when Ricky Hatton came up short against may weather and pacquio, he was top class and knocking men out left right and centre but they were above him and no shame in him losing to them. Kahn has been suspect from the presscot fight and it showed again he can't take a good shot You dont have to buy it there
  12. In top level sport you win some you lose some......if you are rubbish you dont compete in top level sport
  13. And the moral of the story is..............................the majority of doormen are 2 bob wannabe,s who shouldnt be going anywhere near gyms.
  14. Reading some replies on here really lets you know how the average man in the streets values have been diminished........there used to be a certain glory in challenging a greater opponent in any walk of life....yet look at some of the sickly little weasle comments the general public come up with these days because a man got ironed out having dared to take on a big challenge....." punching above your weight " used to be respected by the average man in the street....now it seems to be frowned upon leaving yourself open to ridicule if it doesnt quite go your way its another clear reminder of how w

If you look at it fairly and sensibly then do people really deserve to keep what they are not willing to fight for ?......the generation before us had to fight for it physically we didnt even have to do that we had it piss easy compared to them yet we didnt think it was all that important........yet now we are whingeing about someone coming taking something that was rightfully ours when we didnt think it was all that important anyway......some people didnt quite have the bottle to stand up for each other when the game was on.....dont start trying to get all " together " now the game has been l
  16. These are different times mate Sugar Ray Robinson fought over 200 fights in his career todays top fighters do well to have 40.......the elite athletes today human or animal are much more highly tuned than years ago it doesnt make them better but the condition and peak they can be put in....yes thats definately better but the drawback is its far more stressful on the body over a career....... today all things being equal 10 fights for a man is probably the equivalent to 1 for a dog.
  17. Stone the crows do you ever leave off.....its a crime Max,its illegal.........what do you want an international governing body for burglars to observe fair play in house breaking as well ?........go and pitch it to Wada see how they feel about it. Sport is supposed to be about fair play and competetive spirit.....its about the positive impact it makes on society and the active healthy lifestyle it promotes within our communities................i dont see matching dogs really fitting into that little ideal do you ? Plenty of natural dogs beat dogs on gear its a very individual thing not

Couldnt agree more.......why do people seem to have such a hang up about saying " im not really sure about this ".......i,ll have my views and stick to them until more research and more info causes for a re - think.......thats the basics of how we learn isnt it ?...............makes you laugh how folk who question things and explore are told they are nutters by people who keep their eyes and ears firmly closed !
  19. Shocking really how little coverage this fight has had its a massive fight with one of the most succesful British fighters ever.......fair play to the lad for seeking out the toughest opponents out there but i think this is a step too far and will be man against boy.

Some of us were running round 30 years ago saying this would happen one day......we got told to shut our mouths and stop being nasty knuckle dragging scumbags......by the very same people that are now hoping Ukip will jump in and save the day. People get what they deserve.
  21. You dont fancy astroturf then Gaz ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSs2Rk-_dP4
  22. oh no these wasnt pals of mine mate just well known funny local characters that all neighborhoods have.....like i say it wasnt really my manor too close to Millwall for me but some folk just stick in the mind. West End was just about fanny for us back then....east end boys/west end girls and all that.
  23. Late 80's through the early 90's mate, always have fond memories of the isle of dogs. We should remember some of the same folk i would imagine remember the Browning brothers round there ?....Billy,Micky,Monty,i forget the other few........big Sammy the half caste lunatic used to kip round Billingsgate ?....Billy Wicks used to dj in all the pubs ?.....it was a bit off the plot for me but still some cracking characters round there.
  24. Yes......and its also legal......legalise dog matching then you can start talking about making it clean. Every contact a dog has will have a big effect on its immune system.....even a 5 minute roll if you was able to peel the skin away you would find deep bruising into the centre of the muscles over the entire body a fully peaked bulldog is a surprisingly delicate little athlete they can only hold peak condition for a very short time finding a dogs peak truly is an art much like a fighter making weight......some of these lads new to bulldogs roll them out far too often then by the tim
  25. Azium/Dex was the basis of a dog matchers tool kit 20 years ago whereas today it would be like pulling up on a drag strip with a mk 4 cortina .....i remember a greyhound man asking me about it years ago i said why do you need to dry out a greyhound he wont be suffering any blood loss running round a track so he started using vit k .....some people are just too set in their ways to change you have to keep moving with sports science you cant stand still or you get left behind.....the biggest tool conditioners have today which they never really had before is Lab use and what a blood count can t
