I totally agree about Var its too much.....re tactics, surely though mate if you continually get smacked in the gob in the same way every time......you learn to duck or something ?.....no ?
-
As long as this Var caper dont get in the way.......personally i think its going to ruin games.....Cities third goal went in yesterday and we all looked around asking each other what happened as the City fans didnt even bother cheering......they knew Var was coming. Wilf i saw your post the other day about our season ahead and Pellegrini etc.....i remember wondering how you would be thinking on Sunday morning ?....f**k me it was terrible !...we get pumped by them in the same ways, same scorelines every season and Pelle still sent them out on the attack....i think it will be a long hard sea

So if i said to you " oi mate i cant be bolloxed to buy a fishing rod or learn anything about fishing.....but you have spent your life learning about it so you tell me all about it instead " You would be willing to do that would you ?.....more fool you then.
-
Sorry mate what supplement do you mean im not quite sure what you are asking ?
-
So you are too lazy to bother going to a gym.... but you want people to share their experience and knowledge of something with you that might of taken them years to acquire.
-
Then your best bet is to ask the folks who are walking about as if to say " look how great i look " ?
-
Maybe i used the wrong analogy.....would you walk up to a big fat bird out power walking and ask " oi luv what diet you following ? "......or a geezer walking along with some gimpy tribal tattoo all down his back and say " ere mate whats the idea of having a tattoo like that "......no you wouldnt because peoples bodies are private to them and so your unlikely to get a good response without having the savvy necessary to have those types of conversations with people.

I agree to a point but ultimately the ring is the proving ground for fighters and as fans or indeed just normal fair human beings nobody likes to see fighters get away with snidey slippery conduct, which for me Fury is....whether you are a Joshua or Whyte fan doesnt matter you have to respect the fact they are willing to have tough fights and are not simply taking pointless nothing fights waiting for the big one to come along....Fury having these joke fights is simply wrong.....Usyk ( who i think could do some damage as a heavyweight ) being put straight in as a number 1 contender having never

Im really looking forward to seeing the lad Grealish this season he,s an exciting talent....i hope Villa do well a club of that size should be competing at the highest levels.
-
In that case, like someone else said its a strange question to be asking people.

There you go you are answering your own questions about the kings move.....you had deep bone pain just from mere side pressure, think of the pain you would be in after the complete hyperextension it takes to pull off a kings move, and dont forget the kings move doesnt have any shoulder commitment compared to side pressure where you are stepping in and throwing your frame at an opponent. Then another dimension of pain is the constant little kick back and rise,up and around your own shoulder type movement it takes to beat a kings move....like i said, arm wrestling takes years and years to buil

Never heard of him mate...but its only the last 10 years odd that the major organisations have had rankings.....before that virtually anybody who won a tournament booked themself as a world champion even if it was just the Arnolds and no pro arm wrestlers were even in it.
-
Walk up to a big lump in a pub or on the street and ask him what steroids he takes see what kind of response you get.
-
Absolutely.....we,ll dry our eyes and move on....its modern football i suppose.
-
If the referees do their job the kings move is as legitimate as anything else......newcomers to arm wrestling always view it as just stretching your arm out to put the brakes on,the big mistake new lads make is focusing too much on the pin line.....its like anything else in sport you have to defend your weaknesses before you can attack with your strengths i always equate it to a fight.....the kings move is the Rumble in the Jungle, the rope a dope.....Ali used Foremans superior power against him. Years ago the KIngs move was a foul,as was looking away from a hyperextended arm....it was a f

The club is being well run, going in the right direction, meeting the needs of the times etc...........but there is no doubt for chaps of my era a certain spark has gone ? Moving grounds was a big kick in the stones that will probably take a generation to fully move on from if truth be told.

A slat mill is for getting a dogs lungs wide open.....does a terrier ever need to redline like that ?
-
I was trying to work out the first time i spoke to him it must of been 85/86ish i think it was when he had that Snicker dog......i had him down as about 60 even then ?
-
Theres a lot more to it than checking supplements, for as long as the science of testing is behind the science of producing then the whole methodology of what is trying to be achieved will be in a mess.....a clean supplement is only clean until an authority finds out how effective it is for doping, which at the speed labs are coming up with new substances can be as little as weeks. A positive test for metabolites is not quantitative but qualitative so the timing of the trace leaving the body is what has always been important.....yet the reality is the longer a person is using anabolic agent

The actual rule is that a competitor cannot drop their shoulder below the elbow pad from a neutral or losing position. The biggest confusion and debate is in the grip.....everybody wants an edge so there is literally battles for millimetres....even a referees grip is rarely fair.

So you have never seen Michael Todd win with a kings move ?......did you not see what happened when Dave Chaffee and Devon Larratt both went for the kings move last month ? John Brzenk is my hero but the sport is evolving he came from a time when an average round lasted less than 10 seconds.....the endurance guys like Todd,Larratt love it. Todd and Jerry Cadorette had a round that lasted 7 minutes in Wal last year......which i think is great as it brings the whole mental battle of competition into play.
-
Daniel Dubois is unbeaten....does that make him the heavyweight champion of the world ....without beating the top guys ? He has never beaten the top 3 left handed and although has beaten the likes of Larratt,Todd,Brzenk on the right hand....has also lost to them on the right hand as well. You keep referring to power......yes he probably is the most powerful....but power is only one facet of pulling.
-
I know what you meant mate, its just a basic top roll.....and yes by all means legal. There are lots of variations of top roll but they all involve hand control ( outside arm wrestling ) There are also lots of variation of hook which involves going bicep to bicep ( inside arm wrestling ) Theres a lot more going on than there looks.
-
You are talking about the Kings move Jobi.....Jiggy is asking about the clip above which is just a very basic top roll. I dont mean to sound like a dick mate but the Kings move is not just " basically locking your arm out " ?.......nobody has ever won an arm wrestling match with their arm locked out ? It is a highly technical move using full range of the supinators...anything other than a very experienced well versed puller under enough torque would blow their elbow tendons out .....Larratt is one of the few athletes who can pull equally well inside as outside and to do that it takes
-
You keep saying that mate but he hasnt beaten the 3 top left handers in the world ?......and he is in the rankings.
