Anyone out making the best of their physical or mental attributes in order to reach a better standard of living for themself and those around them get my admiration. But anyone out just to get a " fear me " rep and a muggy little book deal or tv program are f****n idiots that proper people earning a crooked pound note avoid like the plague.

Im just not sure,i remember 25 years ago almost to the day we tragically lost a lad i was close to from the local area after a British Title fight,and speaking to the neurosurgeon who worked on him and listening to him saying that ring deaths would be a thing of the past over the coming years....partly due to what was learned by the Watson thing,partly due to 15 rounders being cut to 12....but mostly due to the pressure people like him were putting on governing bodies to ensure referees stopped fights sooner rather than later....and thinking back to that conversation it makes me wonder if refe

Must be a bit of a choker though mate Bruce is certainly a come down from Raffa whats the general feeling about it up there ?....ok theres not many bigger names than Raffa but Bruce cant exactly fill you,s with enthusiasm i would of thought you,s would of been looking towards top 10 rather than looking over your shoulder he,s more of a relegation battler.

He had 8 fights in the last 3 years....Ortiz had 7,Wilder had 6,Fury had 4.....difference being the quality of opponent Joshua faced was far higher than the others. The only top heavyweight to fight more often than Joshua is Dillian Whyte whos had 10 fights in 3 years.

Temporary high blood pressure can usually be explained ( stress,overwork,diet etc ).....but long term high blood pressure needs fixing as its a silent killer. Rather than waiting till you happen to be in your docs surgery get one of the little Omron monitors they sell in Boots for about a score and keep a check on it yourself over the weeks if its constantly high over a month or 2 then get it sorted at your docs.

Couldnt agree regarding Joshua he has the best resume of any heavyweight in the world.....he paid the price for fighting other top heavyweights instead of hand picking nobodies,simple.

You say that Mick but the value in these fights are what Whyte gains mentally not financially.....a lot of heavyweights out there want to do as little as possible for as much money as possible because they think they are better than what they are.....Dillian knows he is not the finished article and with only 7 amateur fights where better to gain knowledge and experience than in competitive fights with top ranked opponents ? Whyte is like a breath of fresh air in an extremely sad climate of heavyweight boxing where being a media whore to gain public popularity seems to hold more value than impr

I remember that blue kk/Jocko stuff a lad close to me was punting them out late 90,s the kk dogs were pretty good athletes but had nothing about them at all but the little black Jocko bitch i forget her name put a bit of punch into them.....he owned just about the only blue staff i ever saw with any fire in its belly,smashing looking dogs as well but like anything they flooded the market.

Terrible performance from Charlie he just never got into the fight he can box so much better than that....he,s a good honest lad who was never going to reach world level but an area title possible national title is well within his grasp,back to the drawing board i guess. Lovely win for Chisora i was told he had a terrible camp they was even going to call the fight off less than a week ago so fair play. This will be a good honest show tonight with mostly 50/50 bouts i had a quick look in Spitalfields yesterday at the weigh in this Rivas looks in great condition i think that will be a good scrap tonight....not sure if it will be televised but look out for a good old Canning Town boy Charlie Duffield he,s had his ups and downs but this is the first fight he,s made the weight correctly and got his condition right he looked immaculate on the scales,smashing lad Charlie he,s the slight underdog but id love to see him nick an area title....Price id like to see rewarded for his persistance,think Chi

An old bulldog i was close to is still kicking about in Cyprus aged 14 i saw him a few weeks ago and realised its a miracle really as he had hardly any teeth since the age of about 3.....must admit his breath was none too clever ?.....never heard many dogs live to 18 though fair play.

Ive always thought lads miss out on a lot of the banter and rivalries that go with following your local club...but if im not wrong Newkid your local club would play in something like the Exeter & District Sunday Methodist League so i suppose you have half an excuse ?
