  1. Put the time in mate, there is no reason it shouldnt work well for you. Think i would just call it a Cocker X if i were you
  2. Both smart looking dogs mate
  3. Looks a nice athletic bitch to me pal you dont want her to heavy, mine was the same at that age. She will fill out as she gets older but make sure she keeps he athletic look.
  4. Find a toy she likes, get on the floor with her and make it fun, when she looks to be coming back to you move backwards until she returns right back to you. Keep it fun and when she has retrieved maybe twice, keep making a fuss of her but call it a day at that. Just keep building on it but dont let her get to the point when she gets board.
  5. Bonny pups mate, good luck with them.
  6. Feed it less, exercise more.
  7. How far is she on with her training mate, are you finding her fast or slow to mature?
  8. My Wire Viz has just turned 9 month & still looks like a young pup compaired to her. Smart looking bitch mate Guess the date on the camera is wrong then

  11. Alright mate, they are made by :- Sporting Scene PO BOX 1098 Gerrards Cross Buckinghamshire SL9 8DY Tel 01494 871514 www.sporting-scene.com Dave.
  12. My 6 month old Wire Viz jumped in the River Weir New years Day Not the introduction i had planned for her, but she took it all in her stride and was in no hurry to get out Like strollers dog, her coat is very tight and the cold dose not seem to bother her.
  13. Looks like he is taking to it well mate. Cracking pictures as well
  14. The day i picked her up she sang all the way home in the back of the truck, i put her on the grass and she went straight into point on my daughters pet rabbits and has done every day since. As for size her Dam was only 22" so i dont exspect her to be anywhere near the size of Janos but who knows, she is about the size of my Lab (21") at 6 months so i would exspect her to make about 23" ish.
  15. Some pics of the Pup, she was 5 months in most of them. In point on a pheasant With my other dogs
  16. He looks big and strong stroller (ruggedly handsome) I know what you mean about them being bouncy, mine is doing my head in at the minute, just waiting till after the season finishes then will get that stopped. One second mine is running around crazy i then stop her on the whistle and she seams to calm right down, i can then send her for either a sighted or blind retrieve and she works very methodical using ground and air scent very well. She has just gone 6 months and although my Lab was further on i am very impressed with her progress and style. Will put some pics up.
  17. He is looking smart mate. Sounds like his training is coming on well
  18. Sounds like they are coming on well for you mate. Have a good day next Monday. Dave.
  19. There is one on our shoot just looks like a GWP and only a little bit smaller than one. Never seen it work yet but will let you know in a few weeks time
  20. Always raised mine on Beta and found it good. But my new Wire Viz pup came to me with a bag full of Eukanuba so i left her on it. It is excellent, dont need to eat much of it so although it is pricey you dont go through as much. Also she is very solid when she cleans herself, which i always find pups can be a bit loose on Beta. Dave.
  21. Looking good pal, very good. ATB Dave.
  22. Was worried my Lab bitch Fern would struggle with her fitness as she still had pups on her early September. But she has come on really well and just as keen as before. She is Doggin in 2-3 times a week and Duck flighting once a week at the minute and we are both loving it. ATB Dave.
  23. We feed our pond every day and they fly most days and come straight back. We have started flighting another pond and have taken 26 wild mallard over 2 flights. We will leave our reared Duck until later in the season before we start on them and even then we only take a few for the first 2 times we shoot them.
