    Good looking Hound SS, would use him on my Hound x Cocker but she is still to young but thats the type i will be looking for in the future. Dave.

    Are the beagles you use pure or a cross ?, we have a terrier pack and a hound x cocker for bushing cover and am thinking of adding some hound or hound crosses, how do you find yours working with the terriers. Dave.

    We have all heard how each dog will find its place in a working dog pack and a new adition will fit in and find its role in a short period of time, but what about the original dogs within the pack. Why i ask is before the adition of Fudge to my pack, my Terrier Ted would take it upon himself to do the work of 10, flying around looking very impressive and never tiring but to be honist missing alot, whippet boys Border is very steady so he became the worker and she was the finder. Now Fudge has joined the pack, she has become the worker flying around but not ranging to far and with her n

    Vandel looks to be getting an excelent shape to him mate, he is still young with all them pointer instincs in him, but i am pleased he is starting to know what his nose is for, hope to see him this next week or so back up the farm mate. Dave.

    Thanks for the comment, got her off Warren (Chipper) only had her about 6 weeks now but she is doing really well, a great addition to my little pack. Warren has some excellent little hounds in his kennel, mainly Bassets and Basset x a reall joy to watch and listen to. Dave.

    There is good and bad in all breeds, so the best allrounder wont be a breed but individual dogs.
