Mackem, not as cold as the weekend before, we were up the Fell We took 17 rabbits and was a great few hours, it was a good test for young Fudge as we only had 3 dogs up there (normally have 6 -9 dogs out) and i wanted to see how she handled all the scent. But she kept her head and did very well, WB's Border did well as usual and Paddy loves this kind of ground it suits him to a tee. Dave.
  6. Hello Swandog, He is a Border Lakeland x Patterdale, he is nearly 2 and excellent in thick cover, i also have him pretty good with hand signals. he is typical of this breeding, he lives to hunt. Dave.
  7. Hello Sambo, she is a Cocker x Hound terrier bred by Warren of this site. She is nearly a year and is doing very well, hits cover like a deamon. Dave.

  9. I always like to hunt the river bank as you never know what those keen little bushing dogs will push out. Nice cold winters afternoon with Whippet Boy and my young lad, we only had my 3 and WB's Border out due to age and bitches in season, but all dogs worked well. Fudge Posing The first catch.   10. Hello, just wondering which section i should post on about bushing packs containing Lurchers and Terriers. Also what if you have a Hound x Terrier. Might be better having a section on Bushing as alot have a mixture of terriers and hounds. Dave.

  14. Cracking looking pups lads. This is my Cocker x Hound Terrier and i would recomend this type of dog to anyone. She has plenty of drive and a fantastic nose. Dave
  15. Good to hear old dog, pleased you have so many young hounds doing well, do you have any to retire next year as 10 sounds alot to add in 1 season (not that i know much about it), or is it your plan to increase the pack that much. Dave.
