  3. I use mine as a hide chair as well as a rifle chair. i have had a new back made so suit how i want it to be and it is spot on. Darren cant do enough to help. is it worth the price tag.... ..... IMHO yes it is, once you end up with a knackered back like mine then a chair like the idleback has kept me shooting.
  4. its all i use. 4 of the very long ones and 3 short. i had 4 but one got shot. you do have to tighten the screw when you fist get them to get them as you want but thats about all. if you use heavy net then tighten the screw a little.
  5. what for, rifle or shotgun. rifle on rabbits then its spot on but for pigeons then forget it.
  6. nice bag there again cookie. Nick was saying he hasnt seen a bird in ages as you have all the birds on your permission next door. i need to find a friendly ferreter to go out and help this year. quick sets are ready.haha

  8. Pes all day long on a 22cf. nice and thin over barrel. adds about 4" to length but is only just over 1" thick. by far the best.

  10. if you had been around the gloucestershire area then i would have snatched your hand off for it.
  11. I have a spare one going. £55 plus postage. all working but it is used. Collection welcome. This is NOT the deben variable lamp. it is the light force 240mm with standard trigger type on/off. dimmers can be bought from clulites for around £25. £20 if you get them from the gamefair. Phil SOLD. thanks gents.
  12. they are around, wheat, barley, peas. wheat is the one at the moment for me. over 500 in the freezer for the last 3 trips on the same area in the last 8 days. i have another area building nicely for next week. another 500 went to dealer 2 weeks ago. im finding that their feeding very early morning and late evening then just pick bits in the heat of the day. so i spend a lot of time morning and evening looking for them
  13. this is an easy one to sort out but you need to be consistent. blow the stop whistle for her to sit. take a step away. if she moves you say nothing, do not blow whistle yet. pick her up by the scruff and put other hand under her. walk back to the spot she moved from and PUT her back on it. grab either side of her neck and lift her so her back legs are off floor, as you put her back down she should sit by herself, if not, she soon will as you blow the stop whistle hard and loud in her face whilst pushing back on to the spot. stand up and take a step back. if she moves or creeps then
  14. bucket seats are all good and well on flat land but as soon as you have a bit of slope of uneven ground then there a pain in the arse. i got rid of mine a long time ago in favour of a carp fishing chair with adjustable legs. i shoot sitting down because i have to but a lot of friend now are changing over to the way i do things. go to the eblag site and pick a good chair up for £20, you will not be sorry and your back will still be friends with you at the end of the day.haha.
  15. how much for the press amd the 4xboxes please. Phil.
  16. lee use to do them, not sure if they still do but you can pick them up from over seas on eblag. you get all the things you need for a basic shell reload. better off getting a lee loader. you will get one for about the same money as the reloader but they are quicker to do. i have one here i dont use any more if you wish to donate to my new rifle fund. £20 plus some postage will do.
  17. fair play to having a dog that will retrieve dummies.
  18. This is the 12month old pup. barmy and a box of frogs but very easy to handle. i have only just started her training as she is still mentally young so i've let her have her puppyhood. do you just beat the one day a week and then the pup has it easy for 6 days or is he always on the go. i work the 2 yr old 4 days aweek on the pigeons and then on a couple of shoots in the winter. get the fitness up and you should see the day out. i your shoots are anything like the two i do then i take me hat off because im bu66ered by the end of the 1st drive. 1/2mile side of hills in woods do me no favours
  19. Guess what! I have one of those. same age as well as same lines Hold him back a little in the drives. dont cast him off as soon as the drive start and pull him back towards the end of the drive. when the keeper tells you all to let the dogs go i would call him back and put him on the lead. no the snip doesnt slow them down, it just kills their coat and they put weight on. i feed mine and energy bar at lunch time. chudleys bar, it just helps his to last the day. i always think of my dogs before myself so i tend to sit with them at the truck on lunch brake so i can dry
  20. liquid and patch cleaning after around 500 shots then a put a few fouling rounds down as it does drift off. i do bore snake every now and then but this does not affect the zero so after a range day or once a month i will put it though.
  21. Is that with BM powder. whats your group like at 200. im about to drop the 52 A-Max and look to load lighter to say a 40gr just to see how it plays as i have had one or two rounds that im not quiet happy with. and the group has dropped a little.
  22. Im useing benchmark in 222. hole on hole @ 100 will do me. 21.5gr benchmark 52gr A-max cci400 primer PPU brass all loaded with lee loader and lee podwer scales. nothing else. dont even need to clean the brass. top load for the above was 25gr so i started with starter load of 20.5gr. Phil.
  23. i never heard anything back so dont know what happened there
