    The flocking is from the states. It is only the flocking so you need some way of sticking it. i just used smoothrite but the lady that sell is has a list on how to do it and the name of the stuff they use. it is a paint that is used on hard hats of something. any way just type flock into ebay its only about $2.00 for 1oz and that will do about 10 crows. i have ordered chestnut and a dustypink so i can do full body pigeons. I tried my flock coated pecking crow today and it worked a treat so im going to make a few more now. Phil.

    Thank you. I now have a flock of pigeons and thinking about doing crows as well. talking of flock. i have just bought a load of flock from the US and playing around flocking crows. i was told to use just a smooth rustproof paint and then shack the flocking partials over it. works a treat and at a couple of dollars posted i have ordered a load of other colours to do pigeons shells. I might even do the sillysock heads with it as well because the kids are moaning that i keep cutting up there school trousers so glue on the body and head.hehe. I'll post if the flocking works. re

    I would take the gun off you but we are to far away from you. I have been watching the thread wishing i could find a way to pick it up as i want a gun that i can mess around with, with out spending to much. Im in gloucester. regards Phil.

    thanks Kev. is it the american eagle owl? I have been toying with the idea but never knew whch one. countywise sell them so i'll go get one, i think they do the little owl though regards Phil

    do you put any blacks around as well or do you just owl and pigeon and give the destress call. I have been putting a bounce a flapper and 3 plastic blacks out and then using a U-caller to take photos. I have no owl as i dont know which one to go for , i have seen big owls and the little owls but dont buy as dont want to be left with something thats of no use.

    Hmmm.....nice looking setup for a beginner perhaps? Will keep any eye on the thread for a week. Has anyone got any particular experience of the Webly Omega? Is the silencer on an air-gun any use? How old is it sax? I use to have one of these. it was a little bit redder in the stock but still not a bad gun. it needed to be serviced often to help keep the spring slap down but there very very easy to work on and a good venom tune wouldnt cost the earth back them.     I have just bought a browning gold hunter camo of a friend. only reason he sold it to me was that the local wildfowlers club was complaining as the carts flew a long way and some were being left behind. Any way i'm new to shotguns out on my own so i cant say to much and can only go by what he tells me. the choke was a 1/7 inve plus that was still in the gun when i bought it. he said that it was all he ever used but he was going to order an extended half from wing supply so he could take the higher birds. he then bought a beretta tekny stone 30" but was to worried about hitting the stock as

    I have just gone through the bino finding thing and have sent a while in the local shops looking and feeling. i looked in a lot of shops and in the end i went for the opticron oregon LE WP 8x42 with 6.5 degree field. I wanted a straight bino so they didn't catch on the pocket or case when sliding them in. i also get double vision on some so i did try about 100 different style and make until i was happy. the view is very clear and ok the viewing field is only 6.5 degree but it was a highish one. i only had £100 spear so i was a little limited.     oh ! forgot to say. the ones i use are telescopic and go from about 4 foot up to about 7foot.

    I cant help with how long but if you want a cheapish one then Aldi have power packs in from time to time. i bought one, £24 and there 17Ah, open them up and take the battery out and if you just cut off the jack sockets and put crimps on then you can charge from the car and the house.

    I use to ride the hills every weekend. I have had 4 seasons on one day up there before now. On the mountain bike in shorts a Tee, in hot sun then the rain came in, followed by the hail and then snow and then back to sun, all in the space of an hour. I couldnt do it now though, i could walk from the car to the quarry though.

    Not a massive help but i have just bought 4 storm poles from a fishing tackle shop. £6ea and then 4 U rests at 50p each. the poles have a corkscrew thread on them so you can twist them into the ground. dont know if it helps, if not at least it bumps you post.

    I made a load of these. there the old paper suit. tyvek. and just painter with acrylic paint from tesco's, you just need white,black and blue. it is waterproof when dry.i have a pattern i cut and then paint a top and a bottom and the sew the two halves togeather. then i just primer paint the heads and staple on a bit of thepaper on the neck. the heads are just only estate agent boards. I have painted the beaks and eyes since this photo was taken. the black sticks are ariel's form the scrap yard. i have spent about a tenner on bits and have enough to make 30 or so. opps! do th

    Oh Dear!! Dont show the wife.hehe. I have been after a black-choco dog for a little while but i want one that is close to gloucestershire and not a stupidly high price.lol.
