  1. A working man earns let's say £400 in a week. The pup could potentially give him maybe 10 years work.....I know your pups are from good stuff so for me they're easily worth a weeks wages....
  2. I can't help with your request but is it Thai or Taiwans your wanting ?
  3. Nice little cock.....I think he's a blue furnace though rather than lemon blue.
  4. Hope she makes a fair recovery...
  5. Max, juice is for the keep not the match !
  6. Pearson for Boro then Logan
  7. Also Araucana come in Lavender so maybe someone has been trying to create their own Legbars and this is out of them ?
  8. Could be anything Jok....when you get even a 1st cross it can throw multiple colours and types. In the making of Legbars some araucana blood was added to give a different coloured egg.....obviously the leghorn and rock to secure the autosexing ability. The cockerel you have could be a leghorn cross - you do get lavender leghorn but without the red, also he has sizeable wattles and yellow legs.
  9. Obviously you'd need the aracauna blood if you wanted the coloured eggs.
  10. No generally they barred all over - on some the barring is more pronounced than others. I'm not aware of any bantams as such but I guess some thing could be created with banty leghorns and barred rocks.
  11. I'm afraid he's no Legbar.....by the very name we know they carry the barring gene from the Plymouth Barred Rock - which isn't evident here.
  12. Yes you could put blue laced to them.
  13. What sensitive breeds you hatching in it Steve and what percentages you getting ?
  14. They are buff laced wyandottes matey, can be bred to another buff laced or a blue laced and still produce standard colours.
  15. Looking for a terrier box - prefer double but single would do. North East area.
  16. Brinsea are good.....till you use something like a Heka or MS. Any inc will hatch run of the mill eggs but when your hatching some sensitive breeds you'll see how good they are.
  17. Neil Cooney I've a pic of my wife with a CO sat by her side in NI from around 6 years ago - no doubt were talking of the same dogs ?
  18. A good result......?
  19. Rabid, Leghorns are what's known as a light breed - great egg layers but rarely go broody. Other light breeds are Ancona, Fresian fowl, Minorca and lots more. If you want something to go broody you want a heavy breed - Rhodies, Sussex etc
