    my best rabbit dogs have been collie crosses. i like a dog between 21 to 25 inch tts. depends a lot on how and where you are going to work them in my opinion. i'm not a fan of the straight whippet. but there are plenty on here that swear by em. good luck in the coming months with your new dog

    town foxes mate . you can get right up close. they are pretty good to get pics off. as they have little fear of humans. they get that close you have to step back to take a pic they are great to practice with the camera. plus i'm well past the desperate stage.

    Ozzy turned out a big lump. but he was the heaviest pup in a first cross litter. there was a few much lighter built and quite racy pups . picked a bulky pup as i wanted a durable pesters dog. for ratching about with. he is just what i wanted, but he is no where near fast enough for your average lurcher owner. but each to their own.

    there is a lad on here with a whippetgreyhound wheaten. i'm sure he will turn up once he see's the thread. ive a whippet first cross and he stands at 23 tts.

    both pics where not took in the auto zone. it was the S. setting for shutter priority ive also done a few with other settings that worked REASONABLY WELL. :laugh:
