  1. very nice nicola. hope it does you proud.
  2. pups looking well pointer as is the old en. my bitch is on the big side but gets one or two. i thought she was going to be an out an out bayer but she got stuck in on the last one will have to see how she goes next season. my young bitch amber is showing a little promise so fingers crossed if the plummer is registered. the rest will still be plummers just unregistered.working stuff. same as for instance. the working lakeland(fell) and the KC laky. i know which i would prefare. the sooner there is a clear divide the better. as for EPTR. folk like that do more damage to the breed than any
  3. thought so. he judged the east kilbide working terrier club show around twenty years ago
  4. i would like to wish mr nuttall a speedy recovery. and it is a loss to your show. however its not the judge that makes the show its the folk that attend it are you sure its twenty years since he came up here
  5. then some of the lurcher lads need to get a digi and put em up same as the terrier lads did
  6. id snap that over my knee on perpose if u pulled that out in my company dude
  7. i would start getting organised. before your pups mature.
  8. a fiver. at blochearn car booty ideal for ferreting ect.
  9. its interesting how folk instantly think the wheaten cross was the bad guy. which may not be the truth. he just had the size and strength to overpower the whippet. doesnt mean he caused it as for the fighting dogs should be put in a hole. i would agree. but is a dog that has been kenneled for years with a dog without incident a fighter.? i would say no. if the two dogs where the same size. whats the chances there would have been a death. slim. whats happened here is a disagreement with a big strong dog and a small slight dog. i have a wheaten cross a very powerfull dog and not o
  10. if your going through a lot of shovels. and they are bulldogs or similar quality, then you are using em wrong. or using a shovel where a bar should be used. there is a stall selling army shovels and picks for a fiver at the car booty glasgow. the shafts may be f****d but ideal for putting on a new shaft. wood is best. ive been using these for years and a good wooden shaft will last well if taken care of. i have a fecked shoulder due to repeatedly jarring it. wouldnt recomend it
  11. better to say nowt and have people think your a fool than upen your mouth and comfirm it there are a few on here that where born at the age of fifty
  12. thanks for putting the pics up tt. thry are plummer types thats for sure. would be good if you kept folk up to date with how the pups get on. the proof is in the pudding. i allways say. good luck with the pups
  13. i am not anti KC. i just feel they will sterilise the breed. i owned a parson a few years ago who was a good enough worker. and when i got him there was a fair few working in the breed. its a differant story now. very few breeds survive as workers after kc recognition. history tells us that. edited to add my favourite bitch is out of wyremead suzie allthough there is legion in there .
  14. I MAY BE WRONG BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR MAIN DRIVING FORCE IS KC REGISTRATION.
  15. try telling her that! I used an apbt stud only because i couldnt locate a full bred working plummer here in ireland, her previous litter were by a plummer(ballina flynn) and i wanted to try something different. The half siblings were put over each other and i have 4 month pups that nobody could distinguish from a fullbred plummer and are showing all the right signs.I didnt just use any pitbull-searched long and hard ,maybe looked at 20 different studs until i found the one i wanted.Ive had no problems with dog aggression/kennel fights and have had more than 1 to ground at once. if you want t
  16. my best bitch cost a hundred quid. she is a little on the big side. and works to ground as well as on top. she is a very usefull bitch for me . she aint what i would call a digging dog but she is a handy tool to have. folk churning out pups and puppy peddling should stick to pets or kc. its sad that the actions of a few well known plummer breeders have no knowledge of working dogs and value the pound above there aninals. but not all fokl in the breed are of this ilk. eptr. every sentance you write undoes any good work done by lads out in the field.
