  2. I think you had better have a read of this thread, http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/327576-how-to-repair-a-net/?do=findComment&comment=3722937 TC That's a cracking thread TC,never seen that before At what stage do you flatline them...theres more hole than net on some of them Those were off cuts of nets that I used to demonstrate how to mend them with. That said I do have some nets here that are getting on for 30 years old, look more like a patchwork quilts than nets but they still work. TC
  3. Do you mean last February or the March before that? Oh yes forgot about those. those are the only times you have won out of the last six meetings. TC

  5. Johnny remember Iestyn Harris he was going to be our saviour in the dark old days when we could not even beat England. He just could not grasp the game. TC
  6. Like many R/L converts before him, he found that the Union game is a lot more complicated and demanding on the body than it seems. When in league a player is tackled the defence or attack has a couple of seconds to reset, while the tackled player does a break dance first before he rucks the ball back. No such luxury with union it is an ongoing attack / defence that has to react to the moment. Far more demanding IMHO. You usually find that the players who do make the crossover between union and league have had a good grounding in union first. BTW Nothing personal against Burgess just saying
  7. You surprise me now, your collars are from all accounts first rate. Yet when it comes to braided lines polypropylene come a very poor second to nylon. it could be that it is an inferior weave and perhaps budget lines that I have seen, but for a braided line it would be nylon every time for me. TC
  8. I still use a styptic pencil for shaving cuts, works well but really stings for a few seconds. TC
  9. sam burgess is class they just didn't give him enough time n guidance before righting him off.. He may be class at the sissies game of touch rugby, but could not hack it at the proper rugby game. He has gone back to rugby league. TC
  10. To be honest I think they will go outside of England for the next coach. Eddie Jones may have a look in so it is rumoured? TC Fu*king hope not, can't stand the bloke. I mean, who would want a foreigner coaching their national team....................... Every British and Irish team that got through to the quarter finals of the world cup it seems. TC

  15. But would he not get royalties for each legit DVD sold? I don't know, but someone is pulling some strings somewhere. First it gets pulled off youtube due to a copyright claim by willfinch36. https://youtu.be/_UwjlmzLQYk Then they are pulled off ebay and both times the common denominator is it is mentioned on this thread. Curiouser and curiouser said Alice. TC

  20. There was a thread on here earlier in the year about a Swansea woman with motor neuron disease who's daughters were doing a fund raiser to get enough money to grant her mother wish to go to Dignitas in Switzerland. The police stepped in and told her it was illegal and there would be repercussions if they went ahead with the fund raiser, after people complained about the fund raiser. Well I don't know how but the mother made it to Dignitas and has now passed away. http://www.llanellistar.co.uk/Llanelli-woman-travels-Dignitas-mum/story-28141380-detail/story.html My thoughts are good
