I lost a ferret on a railway siding as a youngster ever since I've used them, touch wood have never lost another in 20 years of ferreting, the way I look at it is if your prepared to put anything to ground be it ferret or terrier Always be prepared to dig it out you owe them that much

    This sounds like the ferreters dream, short cut grass no obstructions, I would have thought lads would have been queuing up for an opportunity like this to come along, pity iv no hols left I'd have snapped it up.

    At the end of the day you can only put opportunities in front of the dog it's then out of your hands, you can't do much more

    all our permission was decimated with myxi last season we only got out 3 times, and from the looks of things it's going to be a couple of seasons until it's back to normal

    Iv followed these posts since socks had the bitch scanned to now and can honestly say they have been the best reared pups on here for a long time, there a credit to him, there progress will be interesting to watch as they mature and get working.
