  8. When you say the stag lurched forward to a solid chest strike then stood there wobbling for 5 mins, surely it would have been more humane to have followed up with another shot to end the matter, wouldn't it?

By a chance phone call my ferreting partner had with one of his customers resulted in getting in touch with a keeper of 4000 achers of moorland, So a date was set and off we went, a 2 hour drive, a wild goose chase thanks to the sat nav we reached our destination, met the keeper, he showed us a few places shook hands, pointed to his boundaries and said help yourself...... result!   18. Here's mine, just need gates making, they cost me about £1100. There 21ft long by 13ft, ply lined kingspan lined bedding boxes about 31/2 foot by 7ft then pens are 10ft long topped off with railings, just need a few days to finish them

  21. I wouldnt waste my time going without a dog we hunt over 4000 achers of fell, limestone, dry stone walls etc it would take forever netting up some of these big setts for possibly nothing to be at home, a dog certainly does help no mistaking this mark
