    dug a few times with a lad from cork about 6 years ago.he used glen/wheaten cross russells. he had a cracking wheaten x staff about 16 in and just about spannable if you had giant hands. we used him in some deep large setts.he was some dog, find anywhere and absolutly annialated is quarry.never quit. was calm when chained up near a sett when it was not his time to work.i would have had a kennel full of em if they are all like him I find dogs like that real exciting to work with,theyd set your heart on fire when youve a good one.

    Theres no single set of rules to pups that is going to sit comfortably with everyone,again even to people who arent money driven and have the right attitude.On culling,if I needed a pup out of my own dogs and my mates didnt need any I wouldnt put down 3-4 good quality pups, sick/deformed no bother,fiesty/healthy pups no,but thats just me.Id rather gift all day long to people I know and watch the pups come on and have the bloodline nearby in case the never never happens but it just doesnt always go the way you want it.In a perfect dog world we'd all give eachother free services and free pups an

    Ditching where I am Bosun means "hit a ditch/hedge,push through". I like a dog that will burst a hedge,thats pure driven and cant help itself,this type of dog would always be my aim.Ive seen dogs that after many years stopped ditching or became calculating about it,on the lamp that is.Theres not that many about I think that have that do or die trying attitude and less still that have that attitude all there working days.

    hi we havent desided yet who will be juding.. have a few people in mind.. Just out of curiosity,why must all dogs be muzzled? You could find that this might put a lot of doggy men of if they have to go out and buy muzzles to get in. in the racing ya plank. Fair dues,sounds about right

    well said and the way it should be imo once you sell a dog thats it you ve washed your hands of it and i think the proper lads think more about the future than a few pound in there pocket that goes just as quick as it goes in were as if you gift a pup too someone genuine all being well you ll hear of its progress for many years and maybe even use it to produce more working dogs for the future plus i never seen a millionare who made it dealing pups and dogs from a back yard. I agree totally with the sentiment of gifting dogs to genuine dog men. Genuine dog men can be hard to find.Ive g

    Had an EBT/lakeland bitch drop dead of a heart attack at 2yr old as she was being lifted out of the dig. Am certain it was due to the EBT blood.

    Is that dog a straight English bull greyhound? he straight english to a greyhound whippet Like what I see of him.I have a soft spot for English bulls and in the crosses the ebt head is very dominant.Had a ebt/lakeland bitch once that was black/tan and broken coated with an ebt head.Class looking I thought,died young of a heart attack though,the defect I believe coming through from the ebt side.
