  4. I think a hunter should join the RSPCA as a volunteer and see what really goes on. A boy I know who worked for them told me a few scary stories of what goes on behind closed doors.
  5. I like 3 course of block and then mesh, not only does it let the light through but it allows the air to circulate better which in turn dries your pens quicker and keeps dampness at bay.
  6. Boys what are widely regarded as the most accurate digital scales on the market?
  7. Beechview were the cheapest in the country when I used them and good quality. You also couldnt meet nicer people.
  8. Usually when we go out we,d be out from 8pm until 5-6am in the morning.Ive seen us still lamping till 7am in mid-winter when mornings are real dark.Could say I find it a tad addictive.
  9. To all the mathmaticians out there,if you put a full bull over a bitch that is 5/8greyhound 3/8bull, am I right in thinking that the pups would technically be 5/8bull 3/8greyhound?
  10. Folks my heads done in here,I want to buy a shock collar for breaking the dogs to sheep. Was set on a canicom1500 then done a bit of research.Dogtra,Innotek,Tri-tronic,Canicom,Sportdog ETC.I said I just want it for stock breaking but I would still like to buy the best in case at some point I want to use it for something else. Advice would be greatly appreciated preferably from trainers or people who have used a range of different ones.
  11. Had a situation a few years back when a young dog that had been dug a few times came out looking bemused.I thought the dog had walked out from the stuff so put him on a lead.So we put another dog in and got a mark and dropped in to find the dog at what can only be described as like a U-Bend on a toilet filled with water, like a beaver dam entrance.Drained the water away and stuff was there,it was soaked, had to completely submerge to get to this part of the sett.
  12. Two dogs mate, thanks anyway.I actually know the boy selling that beagle, small world:)
  13. Realistically we probably wont, making it known though hopefully just letting others know theres a thief in the ranks in the north and to be cautious.Nobodys perfect nor squeaky clean, myself included but we have sadly have some of the biggest lowlifes your ever likely to meet in this game.

  16. I appreciate the replies lads.Being honest I always looked at posts of dogs being stole in the south and in England and thought Id hate to have to be so worried all the time about dog theives thats why Id want to get these pr*cks hung out to dry and made an example of in the good old norn iron way and hopefully put anyone else of the idea.Hunting is enough of a nightmare as it is between rifle mens wholesale slaughter(if your up in arms at this statement ask yourself why) and them other cowardly b*stards in helicopters who are afraid of real police work, without having to worry about theiving
  17. Mods I understand youll probably want to move this post but if you could let it get a bit off a view first Id appreciate it,Thanks.
  18. These two dogs were stolen in Lurgan,Northern Ireland on thursday night. Both are tri-coloured,one is a lightly built beagle and the other a spaniel hound.Id appreciate it lads if you could keep an eye out for them.It seemed we in the north had escaped the scum that steal dogs, hopefully this is just a one off.Lets nip this in the bud now lads and nail these f*ckers. If you know who has them email me and you have my word that even your profile name will remain 100% anonymous.Cheers lads.

  20. I have the same problem in the puppy pen.I have wood shavings and the younger dogs pee in it,caught the odd older dog doing it too.I think the dogs dont equate it to fouling their bed because it disappears as if by magic into the wood shavings.
  21. Has anybody had any dealings with this site. They are doing a great deal on canicom 1500 shock collars but would like to know if anyone has dealt with them before I hand them any money.Cheers lads.
