  4. Theres a guy at work,a very good angler, had some beautiful heavyweight Thames carp, and an enviable tally of big barbel, said he is going to show me a mark for cats in the Thames,I only know of two caught locally, the biggest was the one under Walton bridge which bottomed out the guys scales at 50lb,the other was smaller, guesstimated at 20+lb,I know several guys who have had runs from what they think were Wels,so yes,its a session to see the potential of local catfish.

Very strange you mention her as I passed her resting place maybe two weeks ago when I was visiting someone else,a small nondescript grave, loads of kids toys and trinkets with a pic of the kid herself on the stone,a sad place,I have seen her father a few times in Walton high street and saw her mum once, her dads a shadow of his former self, forget prison for pedophiles, its wasted money thats a fact, you said let the average person make the laws?I bet the average person wouldnt think twice about reinstating capital punishment for those who sexually predate on kids.

A nice sentiment but a tad naive, the man on the ground, the people dont make laws, politicians do,and they are so far removed from everyday life as to be another species Changing laws?Look how many people tried to get the hunting ban repealed

Several years ago the Iranian government publicly hung two men who had raped a 13 year old boy,no faffing around, they hung them from the boom of a crane,I also remember one guy who had committed a similar offence having a brick-wall bulldozed over him Pedophilia is incurable, pedophiles truly dont think what they are doing is wrong,to them its as natural as a guy going with a consenting woman, they cant be reintegrated into society as their prey is societies weakest members, the children. If you have a cancer you cut it out.

  23. Good point! Since 1997 there has been 17 court cases across northern england in which gangs of girls have been tried for preying on girls aged 12-15,a total of 56 men have been convicted of crimes including child abduction, indecent assault and rape.Of the 56 men 50 were muslim and most were of pakistani origin.A former senior Lancashire police officer cited "Concerns about upsetting community cohesion" to explain the reluctance of authorities to publicly accept the very specific offender profile A national enquiry was launched earlier this year into the findings,Detective Chief Inspector A
  24. The sad thing about all of this is that some poor kid,a young vulnerable girl, was targetted, abused, strangled(its what the police think)and fed into an industrial mincer with no remains ever found, police think the same gang repeated the process in 2007 with 15 year old paige chivers, her body also has never been found.
  25. Quite a disturbing read. At least 60 schoolgirls were groomed for sex by workers at seedy takeaways linked to the murder of a 14-year-old girl. Children as young as 11 were targeted by mainly Asian staff at fast food outlets in Blackpool. They were offered food, alcohol and cigarettes in return for sexual favours. An unpublicised police report produced after 14-year-old Charlene Downes vanished in 2003 found the girls, most if not all white, had been victims of the ‘honey pot’ premises. There were claims last night that the report was suppressed for reasons of political correctness.
