How many lessons did you have?I am booking a trial lesson on a Quik GT450 here in the UK for a few weeks time,i have found an intensive month long course in Thailand which i am thinking about I went on one years ago over the pinatubo lava fields and really enjoyed the experience. -

I didnt realise at the time that Peshawar was a cheap place for westerners to buy kilos of heroin,plain clothes police stopped me at the train station as I was waiting for a train to rawalpindi maybe suspecting me of transporting drugs,I had two pistols without a valid reason and they were expecting me to pay them off rather than risk a court appearance I think,funny times £8 was a result -

Been to court in Peshawar,pakistan,got fined £8 but the coppers who took me made me pay for the taxi from the station to the courtroom and I was fast-tracked,went straight to the front of the queue,loads of shaven-headed manacled pakistani type hoodlums and ne'er-do-well's sitting waiting to be dealt with and I was given priority -

Watched a tibetan sky burial,years ago when you were still allowed to spectate,and also fed the Komodo dragons a live goat,the authorities prohibited this so your not allowed to do that nowadays,quite a few things most of which are best kept from an open forum -

Theres some in Lower Feltham as well Paid,down near the remand centre,the sound they make on a warm summer evening as the suns going down is rather tuneful

I remember at 13 buying a 25 yard salmon net out of my paper money and setting it that first night,I checked it the next morning pulling it in and seeing the silver form of a fish under the water as the net drew in,I had a number of salmon that first morning.Got quite a few over the summer,used the money to buy a single barrel .410 pedretti,a little folding up model,used to carry it under my jacket up to the local woods or wildfowl reserve for roosting pheasants and mallard as they sat illuminated by the moon on the waters surface,f*****g hell,how did we get away with it

Theres a truly massive roost at Esher Rugby grounds,theres an old guy locally,lives in Ashford I think,I met him at queen mary reservoir once when he was bird watching,he estimates the Esher roost as 2000+ strong.

Your right,a small number in Norfolk in 1855 but the population "Did not persist" in other words died out,theres a massive number of these birds locally,thousands,I pass shepperton most days and the general census of opinion is the local flocks are descendents of the african-queen releases.

Maybe a small number in 1855,but they are or rather were very localised around west london/shepperton area,I saw probably 100+ when I was out first thing this morning,I think the shepperton theory is where the current population came from.
