    I went to chatuchak market,years ago you used to see leopard and tiger cubs,pangolins,gibbons etc all for sale and cock-fighting,all sorts at chatuchak,the WWF undercover guys have somewhat sanitised the place nowadays,but its still a good place to see reptiles,birds and stuff.     Two old mates bought litter brothers years ago from a guy in Gateshead who bred a line of deerhound lurchers,both were worked over much of the UK,from caithness down to the home counties,i saw one meet a premature end running a fox across a road in Abbey Wood south/east london,early hours,dog had taken a fox earlier in the evening and when a second one came mooching in it looked a cert.The second one made old bones,he was the most usefull of the pair,both took several varieties of deer,lots of fox,rabbit and hare,good memories.

    I remembered this thread the other day,i walked past a dentist that caters for ex-pats,an advert in the window offered implants for the equivalent of 600 quid.Indian dentists look a nightmare,leastways the street ones used to,i once watched a guy near paharganj in delhi have a tooth extracted in one of those pavement open air dentist's,it sounded like he had no anasthetic.

    I watched "In the heart of the sea" the other day,remake of the old Moby Dick,worth a punt,the remake of Point-break is out in a few days,the original keanu reeves,patrick swayze,gary busey was a classic,judging from the trailer the new version looks watchable.
