  1. Catmaster tackle dominators come in 4,5,6 and 8lb tc but they are 10.9ft and harrison do a 10ft 6lb torrix continental catfish rodI need something small mate, the fish often run under the jetty and a smaller rod can muscle them out,i used a 10 Foot spod rod 5lb tests curve a few years ago,it was ok when they ran out into the lake but when they came at me it didnt cut it,I will have a look at the sturgeon rod and a few others, the cats in the lake run up to 330? pounds and the arapaima are much bigger,i dont want to go over there for a week long session undergunned.
  2. A decent brush cutter is better, large Shtil FS400 or similar. A pedestrian flail will get in there. Scagg http://www.rtmachinery.co.uk/products-scag.htm , Hayter Condor or may be there is a modern equivalent. Or as said a goat or/then a pig, yummy. I have a strimmer,a stihl 560 knocks the biggest patch down with a brushcutter on it.
  3. Looking for a rod at the minute if anyone has reccommendations?10 foot or smaller,5-6lb test curve, going to use it with 80lb braid on a big pit reel.
  4. My youngest kid just phoned and asked me the same question,i said "Just the usual mate, prostitutes, cocaine and loads of drink" he said "Like father like son" (i do hope he was kidding).Stopping in and watching the telly 2016 brings whatever it brings, not going to celebrate its arrival however.
  5. Surprised Dianne Abbott hasnt got one for servicing jeremy Corby, one or two have value as some individuals really deserve recognition, the rest are plastic.
  6. I live in surrey, average life expectancy for a man is 81,in sunderland its 76,average wage locally is around 30k,average in sunderland is 24k,as my old mate used to say money isnt everything, but it sure takes the sting out of poverty.

  15. Theres an interesting article in the current shooting news about scottish wildcats breeding with domestics and becoming diluted, the highlands are a true wilderness,no reason a larger than average moggie cant roam relatively freely up there, but down in england with its population density, its rail and road arteries dissecting the place,no,there are no breeding or populations of cougar, lynx, leopard or similar.

  17. Never seen it mate, the pinoys all seem shit scared of venemous snakes,i had one in the shed once, climbed up onto the racks to take a pic and it moved, rearing up,the guys who were in the shed looking at it from a distance all ran leaving me and the snake alone, you might be on about thailand, lot of snake hunters there, all the stray dogs in the philippines wouldnt last 2 minutes however useful, they end up on the plate.
  18. They are the largest venemous snake in the world, impressive in real life,we used to get them in the garden in the philippines as the land backed onto bamboo and scrub.

    Crazy Roads

The old road from gilgit to skardu used to be a killer (literally) often used to have landslides and avalanches.its a long way down.I used to travel a road in the cordilleras, one of the local bus companies used to sell insurance with the bus ticket.
  23. There are no breeding populations of cougar, lynx or leopard in this country, none whatsoever, theres no evidence to support it,theres no proof to support peoples claims,no dead cubs on the side of the road,no proof positive pics,no anything today give the claim credence. There might however be larger than domestic cat hybrids breeding in places, they are big cats but not the generally accepted Big Cat.
